If only Samsonite had put some quality into it...
This bag is ideal for traveling for work with your laptop, notebooks, pens, business cards, flash drives...you name it, there's a pocket for it. It fits under the middle and window seats of most Boeing airplanes, but not the aisle seat. It fits in the overhead of every large aircraft I've tried it on. It does not fit in the overhead of small regional jets or under those seats. There's enough room in the bag even with my office stuff in it to jam in a book, a sweater and a snack for the flight. I love the spinner wheels. It makes a ton of difference compared to roller bags, and I never will go back to simple rollers. The bag falls forward when you unzip the main compartment if your laptop is in it. Despite this, I have really enjoyed using it since I bought it six months ago. At least until it broke last week. The handle came apart. The rubber had been peeling off for weeks, the screws kept coming loose and needing to be tightened, and finally, the screw on one side of the top of the handle ripped out of the bottom of the handle. There should have been metal to metal with the handle/screw/posts. It's plastic to metal. I didn't mistreat the bag, though I sometimes lifted it by the rolling handle and not the strap coming up over curbs. If the handle hadn't been made so cheaply, I might have been able to get a year out of it based on the wear on the nylon cover near the zippers, which in some places is started to get fuzzy. To be honest, I expected a lot more from Samsonite. I expected quality. With a design this good, all it would have taken is a higher quality handle to have gotten a five star review.I'm sending the bag in to see if the warranty covers the broken handle. If it does, I'll update this review.UPDATE: Samsonite replaced the bag for free, so I raised the review from 3 to 4 stars.

Wanted to love this, but it has several flaws for me
After a shoulder injury I needed a replacement for the laptop backpack I’ve been using when traveling to and from the office via car. While this one has sturdy wheels, I am not at all impressed with the sturdiness of the telescoping handle. While it has not yet broken, it was floppy right out of the box which is not a good sign. The real major flaw is that when the main compartment is unzipped to access the laptop sleeve and the accordion sleeves for notebooks and files, the entire briefcase tips over. This requires propping one side up against a wall or cabinet.Given these two issues, I would have liked to have returned it. However, due to the shoulder injury I chose instead to live with its flaws and see them as quirks… I will be replacing this for a better model like the one I used in grad school years ago and no longer have.

Best office bag for travel - Hands-down!
I have used this bag and the Xenon Spinner by Samsonite. Of the two, I prefer the Mobil Office spinner. They are both incredibly tough and very functional. Contrary to other reviews, I found this bag to be the most easily accessed in different situations. You do have to unzip the bag most of the way to access it, but that zippered two-part shell is what allows it to secure the contents so well. On top of that (so to speak), I have hauled other bags and briefcases on the top of the bag and resting against the handle through airports and to education fairs across the world. It should have broken, but has not yet. I find it to be the most functional and efficient bag out there. Good going Samsonite.

Extremely not worth 180 dollars
The extending handle is cheap. Small. Not worth 180 dollars. Probably could find it in a store for 45 dollars

Acceptable size and weight.
Rolls nice. Ok size. A little gangly when trying to load or unload the center compartment.

Not worth 1/4 of the cost. Do not buy!
Handle is flimsy and is not easy to control.Zipper pocket the handle folds into is flopped open when in use.Storage pockets are not well organized or designed. Case is very unbalanced when full. This is not quality and I do not recommend purchasing.

Will it fit under the seat? HELP?
I really need an answer before using this bag. I intended to replace my softside laptop bag with something on wheels. After receiving the shipment, I am wondering if it is to large to fit under the seat. I know that smaller planes have different under the seat sizes. In general has anyone used this bag to store under the seat? I try to comply with the two carryon pieces of luggage and I have a wonderful Samsonite carryon for clothes to put in the overhead.
