Mony Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser (Blue)

UPDATED REVIEW: After posting my negative review, I got an email address to email their customer service department. I gave them all my information (address, amazon order #, etc) and withing TWO DAYS I had a brand new diffuser. I was shocked at the service.I am being VERY careful with this one. I think when I filled it previously, I might have accidentally spilled water into the vent on the top. The design isn't the best if getting water in there causes it to STOP WORKING. But so far it's working beautifully and I am happy with it again.PREVIOUS REVIEW:This worked great for the first 2 months that I had it. And then suddenly it started to leak water from the bottom...not much, just a little. So I placed a towel underneath and it seemed to still work fine. After about 2 weeks of minor leaking, I turned it on and nothing happened. It hasn't worked since.I knew I was getting a pretty good deal on this but I was expecting more than 2 months of return on my investment. Next time, I will pay more and get one from a reputable dealer so if it does break I would be able to return/exchange it.

I've been using this diffuser daily for more than 2 weeks now and it works very well. Easy to operate, nice to have the option for continuous vs. 30 second mist, and the light on or off. The sound is a gentle trickling of water too, which is very pleasant. My only complaint about this so far is that it does leak a bit, so make sure to put something under it like a saucer to protect your furniture. (I use large glass pillar candle holder and it works great.)Update 1/24/15:Still going strong! I use this DAILY, usually set it once in the morning and run it again in the evening --- so for 10 months or so this thing runs 6 or more hours per day. Still works well. I do have other diffusers too, and this one is probably the noisiest, but not bad.

Have been using this unit for about 2 weeks...gives a nice mist/aroma. Super easy to clean. I like the sound it gives off, sounds like raindrops hitting a puddle of water...I find that quite soothing. My biggest concern is that water leaks from the bottom. There was a pool of water after using it (I filled it just shy of the fill mark). Will give it a couple more tries to see if the problem goes away...for the price I paid that is bothersome.Update: after reading my review, Mony sent me an email re: pertaining to my complaint that the diffuser was leaking. A new diffuser was expedited, without any hassle! The new diffuser has been running great, no leaks noted. Very pleased w/this purchase and the customer service was both efficient and quick to rectify this issue. Great warranty-great customer service...that goes a long way!!I have now changed my rating from a 3 to a 4....I would give it a 5 if it had a programmable setting/feature.

I got this diffuser a couple of months ago. Worked great to begin with. I use a variety of different oils and I really appreciate the fact that I can turn off the light and and set it for an intermittent amount of time. I like how large the reservoir is. It steams for a nice amount of time. I understand that it's an EO diffuser and not an air freshener. Although it can certainly do both. I started to have problems with the diffuser a few weeks after I received it and Mony USA was amazingly responsive to my needs. They ended up replacing the unit for me quickly and easily. It's nice to know that the company behind the product really stands behind it. Makes me like the product even more!

We use this nightly. My husband has really high blood pressure, and was having trouble sleeping. We heard that ylang ylang in a diffuser would help with both problems. Every night I load this up with the water, 12 drops of ylang ylang and 8 drops of lavender. He falls asleep instantly and his blood pressure (with the help of meds also) is down. I set this on the 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off mode, and it runs for about 4 hours. It was a surprise how big this thing is, but it works, and that is the important part.***UPDATE****: Well, I gave it 5 stars because it worked. I was very careful to clean it after each use, because you if you didn't, it would only use about 1/2 the water and only run for a couple of hours. But then it stopped working altogether after only 2 months of use. It somehow let water into the bottom of the unit. I was able to shake the water out, but in the meantime it had shorted out the electronics. I could get it to flash a light a couple of times, then not even that. I really, really like it while it was working, but at about $1 per use, just way too expensive for how long it lasted. Darn.

I love this diffuser! I have 1/2 a dozen other diffusers around my home, but was sold on this one when I saw that it could run for 7 hours. It runs 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off, which is great, because I can diffuse an EO all night. There is also the option of letting it run for about 3.5 hours continuously, but I have other diffusers for that. I like it so much that I just bought another in the magenta color.I've had no trouble with spilling, but I never fill above the line. All in all, a really nice diffuser, especially for the price.

It was nice, but quit after a year. I bought it for my wife last Christmas and it quit two days after this Christmas. One day the mist just stopped. I've done nothing new and have cleaned it several times and nothing. A full tank is still full after days of use, so I know it's not really doing anything other than churning water and you can't smell it unless a few feet or less away. I think it has a two year warranty, but after looking over their website I'm not putting any faith in that.
