Yes, these are good for portions of baby food. But 2 years on… these are amazing size ice cubes for alcoholic drinks. To all relatively new parents: there is hope, keep calm buy this product and give it a few years, you too can enjoy alcohol again!

I dont normally come to the things I've bought just to review but for this i make an exception. The portion sizes are perfect. Especially for my now 17 month old. We have been using these a long while now (approx 6 or 7 months old). There's no staining after making chilli, butter chicken, curry or bolognese. Cleans great, pops out easy. Makes BLW a dream and life much easier with batch cooking. I wouldn't recommend it for things like fruit purees. I think a smaller one is better for that like a 1oz or 30ml one. This is approx 60ml. At the moment i pop them out when frozen and keep using them for other batches but I've left a chilli batch in them for a while now and it's lasted so well I'm thinking of buying more and leaving them in it. It really does prevent frost damage in my experience (included a photo of said chilli). They even stack nice in the freezer. Highly recommend!!!

Good size portions for 6month old babies starting solids. As your baby starts to eats more the portions are too small. The lid doesn't always stay attached well either, so it is easy to remove. But it's a decent product for the price. I would recommend buying little jars instead.

I use this to put purées in very good cause you can get a few in and good size each square comes with a easy lid that opens up and easy to get the frozen purées out

As most people, I bought these for weaning and freezing purees.ProsI found the ice cube trays could be too small for a portion for my baby so these could take more volumeHaving a lid to fit the tray ensured the contents weren't spilt and kept hygienicDishwasher proof and no stains notedConsI didn't leave any room for expansion of my purees so during the freezer process the expansion causes the lid to push offThe base is very floppy which can make ay transportation difficult
