Solid mid-level basic mixer with better quality than expected and good performance.
The media could not be loaded. The Audio Equipment Bundle by FIFINE, is a nice, more basic way to control your audio for recordings, that offers some good controls and quality, at a bargain cost. Here are some of the things Iâve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality â I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this set for the level of cost. The mic feels very solid, heavy and is precise. The EQ and buttons feel nice, smooth and give me the impression that I have a good quality product.II. Performance â I found the performance to be nice and left me happy using it. It offers a good basic level of controls that would be sufficient for a beginner or someone that isnât looking to go deep on the controlling of the sounds. It allows me to save custom setting to be used at the push of a button as well as adjust on the fly. You can isolate, mute and control most basic functions needed for a podcast or making videoâs. The mic is very sensitive and can capture fine details, sometime being too fine, requiring me to turn it down a bit.Overall, this is a great set up for many peopleâs needs, that will provide the needed controls to produce some great audio for your videos. Beyond that it includes good quality and a solid value. Iâll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.If youâd find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well itâs video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Great Setup for Beginners
WHATâS INCLUDED:-FiFine SC3 Audio Mixer-Fifine K99D Dynamic Microphone-3.5mm Audio Cable-XLR Cable-User GuidePRODUCT/THOUGHTS:If you are new to any kind of recording this is a great little setup to get you started. BUT there are some caveats to the microphone. And having a condenser Mic or Dynamic does matter for your situation. However, if you need something to get you going, this can probably work for you.THE MIC:-Itâs important to note that this is a Dynamic based microphone and not a condenser. There is a difference between the two and youâll want to do your research to understand if that is right for you. Dynamic mics are good for suppressing background noise and picking up the details in your voice, BUT you need to be pretty close to the mic. The instructions tell you that it should be within 4 inches and that is accurate. This kind of mic being Dynamic, does give you that more âBroadcasterâ kind of voice off the bat.-This set comes with a little mic stand, but it isnât height adjustable and because you need to be so close to the mic to get quality sound, I wouldnât recommend this kind of stand in the long term. Itâs okay to get you started but you might find it challenging to position it close enough. The taller of a person you are, the harder itâll be if you have a longer torso. Youâll need to bend down too much unless you prop the stand, up on something. This is why I would recommend you get a 3rd party stand that has some height adjustment.-Lastly, with Dynamic mics, you need to speak towards the top of the microphone, not on the sides. It does show you this in the instructions as well.THE AUDIO MIXER:This is a pretty basic audio mixer, but I find itâll probably work for quite a lot of people, unless you are setting up a podcast where you have other guests and youâll need multiple XLR inputs, with controls etc. This mixer is really for a one-person setup. Again itâs best for someone just getting started on their recording venture, doing voiceovers, a one-person podcast, or content creation. Things like that. They give you 4 Custom effect buttons, which you can use to play a sound effect that you set, or perhaps a voice clip that you recorded (Limited to 15 seconds). There are some built-in Voice changes you can do but they are just kinda ehhhh. I guess they are kind of fun to have but I donât see myself ever using them.Other than that you have all the basic controls you would expect like Muting/un muting your Mic, Line In, Headphones, and Line Out. The headphones are the port you would put in your Monitoring headphones if you are using them. And across the top, you have 2 sets of lights. One to show you the Mic sound feedback, and one to show you the monitoring feedback sound levels. Pretty simple. You also get a couple of RGB choices to choose from. Itâs not really necessary on a functional level but I like that they give it to you, so you can style up your equipment. So many audio mixers are very plain without any Pazazz so to speak. So itâs all good.END:In my opinion, the sound quality came out pretty good for both the mic and this mixer. My personal Protip is get a Windsock for this Mic unless you record in a very controlled Room already. But if you have any ambient noise going on, youâll want one over this mic.Obviously depending on the DAC Software you are going to use, will greatly affect how all of this comes out. But for the price they are offering this at, I think it does a really phenomenal job. Itâs a shame that the default mic stand doesnât have any height adjustment though, but at least itâll get you started. Without using any software modifications you really get that âRadio broadcastâ kinda voice out of this. But your mileage may vary. I can certainly recommend it and I donât think youâll be very disappointed if you need some kind of starter set.

Turn your next Zoom call into an ASMR!
This FIFINE Audio Equipment Bundle has more knobs and dials than a spaceshipâs control panel, and Iâm pretty sure I saw it wink at me when I finally figured out what the âmuteâ button does. The XLR Dynamic Vocal Microphone is so sensitive, it picked up my breathing, and not in the good way. Now, thatâs what I call sensitive! The RGB Mixer Set, on the other hand, is so flashy, it could double as a disco light. Who knew podcasting could be so⌠colorful? The Volume Fader is a nice touch, perfect for those dramatic fade-outs when you want to leave your audience hanging. And the Individual Control? Well, letâs just say itâs great for those of us with control issues. But the real star of the show is the Monitoring. Itâs like having a mini sound engineer in your ear, whispering sweet nothings about audio levels and sound quality. Itâs a little creepy, but in a good way.In conclusion, if youâre looking for a piece of equipment that does everything but make your morning coffee, the FIFINE Audio Equipment Bundle is for you. Just donât blame me if you start seeing sound waves in your sleep. 5/5 stars for turning my belly button lint review podcast into an audio extravaganza!

Son has enjoyed using it for streaming!
I ordered this audio bundle for my son to use for his gaming and streaming. It's the perfect set for a beginner to start with. It was simple to set up and it's easy for him to use on his own. The buttons on the mixer are all responsive and perform well, each one is labeled as well. The mic is free good, ot the nest one he has used, but it works. The sound quality is nice, it's clear, loud, and even, but sometimes there is some distortion and background noise can interfere. Overall though it's a great set that he has been getting a lot of use out of. It's working for his streaming videos, so he is happy. I will upgrade him after he has gotten completely comfortable with this one.
