Purchased for traveling and now that I'm home I've even been using it for a quick dewrinkle...for various materials! It heats up quick, it's a pretty powerful little steamer. It's lightweight too, again great for travel.

This is great for traveling. It doesn't take up too much room in the suitcase. It works great.

Works great, upright steam is appreciated on my wrinkled suit. I also travel overseas so the 110 to 220 at the flip of a switch is appreciated.April 1, 2014 update.It still works great and it's been to Lithuania, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, various U.S. states in checked baggage (canvas wheeled bag)... and no issues. Perhaps the complaints about it breaking must be due to mishandling? You just need to pack it in the center of your bag and surround it with clothes. I have totally ditched using hotel irons. They take forever, leave marks, and can't knock the wrinkles out of my suit.December 1, 2105 Update.This iron is still going strong. Just went to Europe and Asia again and it's traveled another 200,000 miles since my last review. I pack it in my canvas luggage on it's side buffered my clothing on all sides. I use it to iron, of course, but use the vertical steam feature for my suits and ties when I arrive.15 June, 2017 Update!This iron has now been in Europe, Asia, South America, North America, and traveled hundreds of thousands of miles sine my first review. The iron still works great and I take it on every trip. It's much better than any iron a hotel gives you, and you are always assured to have one. I like using it as a steamer, too, to take the wrinkles out of my suits and ties after traveling. I travel using a soft sided bag, so I always pack it in the middle of the case on it's side. Thanks Rowenta.30 August 2017 Update.My iron finally bit the dust after hundreds of thousands of travel miles. It didn't break, it just stopped working. So I ordered another one today. This iron works better than anything you will find in a hotel, plus the vertical steam knocks the wrinkles out of my suits.October 2018This one developed a leak after four trips and after one year. That’s too bad, but will buy another. I can’t find anything better.

I’m a textile artist and quilter and I bought this because I needed something compact to take to workshops. It’s a great little iron for doing small work. I love that it stays hot, doesn’t switch off when you aren’t using it. But the steam feature isn’t great. Either too much, or not enough. And it doesn’t get very hot. But, so cute and tiny and easy to store and transport.

Bought a handheld steamer off amazon from this company and it broke after the 2nd use while on a trip to Europe. We packed in carry ons for a 2 week trip so space was very limited, took a video of the product broken and left it since we were already limited on space and weren't going to carry around a broken steamer on the rest of our trip. We really needed this for a wedding so it was very disappointing and problematic that it broke. Called the company and amazon and neither would help. They would not send a replacement and were actually quite rude and unhelpful about it. Thought this was a reputable company that would stand by their products, guess not. Very disappointing.

my opinion, the truth, no pictures, use your imagination.1. Skeptical because of review displaying a broken wan (handle) and the Cord being (looked to me like) torn out of the unit. The review, the handle would not stay upright, hmm, why is the cord torn out. And all the time the review was the unit broke itself.2. Received my unit today. Delivered by USPS, the package/parcel was banged up/dented. but once opened the unit was intact. Small prayer of thanks.3. The handle. I lifted mine up, robust click and it stayed up. I put a small amount on the handle it would not go down. I eyed the unit and at the back of the unit and oversized button that reflected the word "PUSH" i did and then the hand dropped to the down position.4. It then dawned to me the review about the broken handle was the cause of a "Heavy Handed" I don't read instructions person. A pile of pressure and snap the plastic hinge breaks, the handle will not stay in the upright position, and the unit was then flung through the air by holding the cord which became detached.5. A bad review was written, but the true explanation of events was not.6. I took my unit to the ironing board, plugged it in filled with 60ml of "DISTILLED" water (bad water at my home). The Unit heated properly, produced steam properly and I did my micro ironing (advent calendar, all pieces hand cut, ironed, and sewn) and the unit ironed perfectly.7. This iron is a KEEPER. Also, it was sold by Amazon, so therefore-my Prime Membership resulted in a two day delivery. (I'm surprised it arrived on time.)8. There you have it. Treat your stuff nicely, follow instructions and your merchandise will last a long time.

Great little steamer! Heats up quickly, cord is a great length. Nice and lightweight for travel. Recommended to my Mom already!

Tuvimos una plancha igual por 8 años. Ya luego dejó de funcionar, tal vez por descuido nuestro (falta de mantenimiento), por lo que compramos exactamente el mismo modelo. Lo que nos gustó mucho es que es de tamaño chico (mi esposa y yo somos de tallas chicas). Con otras planchas batallábamos mucho. El sistema de vapor funciona muy bien. Está ideal para viajar, ya que requiere poco espacio. Lo único malo es que el contenedor de agua es muy chico y hay que estarlo rellenando, pero se entiende porque es compacta.

This is my 2nd time I buy this iron because I liked it so much. It is the hottest little iron on the market but what out for the handle, do not put too much pressure as it will break and the handle will not stay up any longer. I use this iron for quilt retreats and when I had tennis elbow I could not use my big heavy rowenta pro master. It allowed me to continue quilting and did a fine job...it goes through water a lot but it only has maybe a half or three quarters of a cup. I just kept a water jug around. The pointy nose is useful as well but it’s small size was useful for working on small quilt blocks and easy to carry around for a quilt retreat.

Does the job very well but I really wish the water compartment was larger. You have to refill it after every item.

Yes it actually does steam, unlike the one I had before it that was basically the same price and also a well known brand. This is a great mini iron and works perfectly beside my sewing machine for quick pressing. The only way the handle is going to break is if it is mistreated or dropped on the floor so I did not consider those reviews in my decision. Yes I would buy it again.
