Perfect fix. Needed a easier hook up for towing. Bought a new small utility trailer with small safety cable hooks. Almost impossible to get them on my 10,000 pd hitch. So I install 2 of these on my hitch and the safety hooks snap right on. With a 5500 pound rating each, they will handle it easily.

These are perfect carabiners for locations that are not going to be removed frequently. Seasonal tie-downs seem like the mostly likely use for these. Especially considering that they're stainless and able to withstand the elements for a long time. Typically I prefer a snap clip, but then I'm not typically clipping something that needs to be clipped for a considerable length of time. For occasions when I am securing something that's going to remain secured for a while, the screw type clip here is ideal.I tested the ones I got up to 1200lbs. No strain, no deformation. As should be the case, you'd never know that the ones I tested had handled that level of load. I feel comfortable using these in all of the applications for which they're appropriate.Highly recommended.

These are solid, heavy duty, locking Carabiners that have a thousand uses. I, as I feel almost all men should, have several of these in my shop and use them frequently. They almost never wear out and (as long as you secure them properly and don't try moving a mountain with them) do not bend or break. I love the four pack because it seems that no matter what I am doing I am always one short. This also a great value - the same thing at big orange runs between $3.50 and $7.00 each.

These are all heavy and strong. I got them to augment and add additional support hanging my punching bags outside. Being marine grade, I have not seen any rust form yet and these things are holding fine. My bag is 120 pounds so even with the added force of punches, they are securely supported with additional limbs in the tree. I went way overboard on the strength for this kind of augmented support but I did not want any breakage or 120 pound bags tumbling down from the tree limbs. These are way more than strong and big enough for the ropes and straps to work through, lock in, and add more support from the tree. I also did not want my limb to start sagging downward with the weight.

These guys are brutes. Yeah these wont break or bend without some serious abuse. I use these to couple other pieces of chain together and also, on occasion, to hook myself to some rope.Nice finish as a bonus
