Don’t buy just get regular after market intake. Trust me. Spend extra dollars on decent intake. This is badly made and last thing I ever buy from spectre

It worked, fitted well.

It worked really well to "fill in the gaps" and customize my cold air intake project. I bought a K&N filter though another online merchant, which included only one piece of pipe. Since I wanted more chrome ("chrome look," actually), I used this universal kit to extend the pipe from the throttle body to the MAF sensor on my 1997 Ford Thunderbird. ** A couple of notes about this kit: 1) The black coupler included does not have the "Spectre" name printed on it, it is a plain black coupler. 2) This kit is not chrome: it is resin (plastic) with a "chrome-like" finish. I bought it just because the kit contained a piece with the holes drilled for the vacuum hose and included vacuum hose adapters. Also, I like how the connector brackets use an allen bolt + (2) O-rings on either side of the connector for a secure fit. This is a good, inexpensive alternative. A genuine chrome kit, with these pieces, would obviously set you back much more.

Not that I dislike it at all. But just doesn't fit my car as I assumed. If buying ask if it fits or research first

I had a problem with the factory intake boot tearing up by the throttle body on my 1996 Toyota Camry LE. I had replaced it twice already and that OEM part was like $35 each time. So this time I started looking for another option. Now, my car had the little Intake Air Temp Sensor that had to somehow plug into the intake. That's the nice thing about this intake have little ports like that. I also had a vacuum hose to hook up to it also. Everything fit good and works great. It's nice intake for being all plastic pretty much.

I dislike the material.

This product sucks seriously don't waste your money on it. Sorry to say but it's cheap plastic your cars intake system is 10x more durable then this

purchased with a k&n cone filter for 2005 odyssey touring.Install was a breeze (after removing the stock airbox which was a pain).Its plastic yes, but sturdy and a quarter the price of 'real' intakes and does the same job so people complaining that its plastic shouldn't because you knew that when you purchased it and that's their own fault for thinking it was something else.after a year, it still looks good, plastic/chrome hasn't flaked or anything. Will purchase again next year for our 08 odyssey (05 written off in accident)

At first it seemed okay... besides the low quality look and feel to it. And also I had it on from mid September to the beginning of last month and found out the gaskets somehow broke that seal each section together. Besides that it can do the job but much better to buy the more expensive setup.

I purchased this item and it arrived on time, it works fairly well on my 2012 mazda 3, but the only concern that i have with it is that its plastic and not metal, there wasn't any information about what it was made out of so i was a little disipointed.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Yes it is plastic, but i can stand on it(200lbs) and it barely even flexes. Made of a better plastic than most stock airboxes anyway. The clamps and all the rubber seals don’t let ANY air in through unwanted places. They make many other parts that can be added, to fit into basically any vehicle. The clamps work well when bolting this onto your average 3” aluminum CAI tubing as well. 100% would purchase again.

Installed on my work truck a F150 V6 no turbo. I needed some extra few hp it was having a hard time hauling up hill. This gave it that much more it needed.
