Yuin OK2 Earphones

It is always difficult to rate a product so soon after acquiring it. I have often reached a final conclusion about an item many months later, after having had opportunity to use it more frequently. That said, and having used the Yuin OK2 daily for about a month now, for about 130 hours total, listening primarily to orchestral music, I would describe it as pleasingly clear and refined. I'm frequently distracted from listening to the music because I'm so impressed how good it sounds. These are not for bass-heads, and they obviously are not supposed to be. They came with rubber earpads and foam earpads. For analytical listening, I prefer the rubber earpads, which yield the most transparent sound from top to bottom. For just sitting back and enjoying the music, I prefer the foams after having cut holes in them (donut style). These give the orchestra a more weighty sound. Still clear in the lower frequencies but not as clear as with the rubber earpads. My only complaint would be that it is so hard to get information, instructions, and accessories for Yuin products. Head-Direct has been most helpful in this regard, but it would be nice to be able to ask questions direct to the seller.
