Great for the chicken coop
We got this for our chicken coop. It was getting too warm for them and I wanted something that wouldn't require running electricity to the coop. It works great, the fans run when the sun is out and helps with bugs as well. I bought a second set for our patio. It is a little bit noisy but the chickens don't care and it's not a distraction on the patio.

It does the job.
It works well, but not too much power in the fans. Weak air flow, but it works with sunlight.

Es bueno
El aparato es bueno, la velocidad del ventilador es muy bueno tira aire fuerte, pero ese tamaño de los ventiladores son muy pequeños para un cuarto de 10 X 10. Pero gracias.

Only works when sun shines
It does work and has a decent power. The only problem is that when the sun isn’t shining on the panels, the fan stops.

Greenhouse fans
Just got them installed in wife's greenhouse yesterday, they seem to work great.

Meh. Just okay.
These fans came with all kinds of screws and brackets, none of which were compatible with the fans or the solar panel. I ended up just using zip ties to attach these fans to my hardwire cloth in my chicken coop. I used double sided 3M tape to attach the panel to the roof of my coop. I ended up trashing all of the included mounting components. I came here to see if anyone posted photos or advice on how the screws and brackets were used, but to no avail. They barely move any air at all, but it’s better than nothing. I liked how long the cords were and I like that they have on and off switches.Indeed, on a cloudy day, the fans stop working. The solar panel does not store excess energy, as stated in the description, so it’s not that I’m disappointed, I am just leaving that information here for other buyers. I would say around 6 PM when the sun is no longer hitting panel, the fans come to a stop.

My favorite style of solar panel and fan configuration
This kit is the easiest to install, with every accessory you may need. I have two other solar fans but this one is the best as it comes in a frame. No need to make one up. The fans run very fast in the full sun and about 1/2 speed with shade or late in the day which is what I expected. The connections are great 3 into one with a good screw on connection. The solder joints are decent. It also comes with enough grills for both sides, most do not. Nice touch.Overall: if you have a shed or chicken coop that needs a bit more air, this is the one to get as you only need to cut one rectangular hole and screw it in. I'll do this from the inside and make a quick wood shade on the outside. This is one nice kit.

Brushless DC fans
I needed an additional exhaust fan for my crawl space. I already have one set up which has a larger fan that runs on the regular mains, but I needed another fan at the opposite end of the crawl space that did not have an electrical plug. It sat nicely on the cinder block opening inside the crawl space. I decided to place the fans inside and the solar panel outside, running the wire through the vent into the crawl space. I did this because I didn't think that the switch was 100% waterproof. It worked out well because it means that the fans are also protected from the elements. Each fan is rated at 12V 0.58A. The solar panel can out put up to 25W. With a 12V draw, it would be able to provide a maximum current of 2.08A if it has full sun. The fans would need 1.74A (0.58A x 3) if they were all to run at maximum speed so the solar panel can easily support the power requirements. The caveat is that when you don't get full sun, the power output drops, which means that the fans run slower. If you need the maximum airflow, you need to place the solar panel so that it gets full sun for as long as possible.

Powerful circulation given the size
Terrific device to keep air flowing through the 6'x8' greenhouse.Installed the 2 fans as intake & exhaust by setting up with the air flow pointed in opposite directions. It was a slight challenge to get the fans to sit solidly because the GH is polyvinyl. But strong glue and double-sided tape did the trick. The solar panel needs clear path to sunlight. Shadows will turn it off: walking pass it, standing in front of it, etc. we have it mounted on a post out of traffic zones. The fans only work when the solar panel is active. I.e. not a solar battery system. Overall an impressive product given the size.

Super simple to apply to fixed or portable uses. Moves a lot of air.
The media could not be loaded. Beginning with the ending comment, this kit moves a lot of air. I wasn't expecting much from it other than I am curious about solar panels in general. I thought this would be a low powered unit but they've chosen a panel and two fans that get running at a good speed to really be of use. The instant I flipped the switch on a single fan it revved up to a "roar" that would audibly change up and down as the sunlight came and went depending on cloud cover. It didn't go anywhere near to being so slow that I could pick out the individual blades. So I turned on the second fan and it spun up to a blur as well.Electrical: The output of the panel is unregulated so the output rises and falls with the amount of sunlight reaching it. There is a little plastic box on the back of the panel where the cable terminates. There is no device inside there. It is just the wire terminations ( 2 wires) from the cable to the solar collectors. The cable then splits 35 cm down the line to separate out the feed to each fan. Those junctions are secured and sealed inside threaded barrels. Barrel plugs are used - 5.5mm x 2.5mm type - which is one of the most universal sizes of barrel plugs in use. The supplied cabling is more than long enough for any uses I will put this to but that junction with plugs that are easy to find opens this up to DIY adaptations without cutting wire. The switches are 40cm from the fans. The fans draw air in from the side that has the wire guard. With no battery or regulation the fans will be changing their speed in sync with the amount of light powering them. It might be a factor on where you choose to place them if you are going to be distracted by that. In my trials, turning off one fan so they are not competing for power left the single fan to rev at higher and more constant sounding speeds.I'll be using these in places unattended where I'm just glad to have fresh air drawn in and hot air blow out. I can spend 6 to 10 hours or more at events while the car is left parked in a field in the full sun. This should be easy to rig up with a fan on each rear window to keep air moving through the car all day and not involve the car battery. There are windows in the house that could be ventilating the place too with a little help from these fans. The construction and finish of the panel is very basic and comes with a variety of hardware fasteners to permanently secure the mounting bracket. The frame is aluminum channel and utilitarian in appearance. This is a functional product, not for show, so no problem there.

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. These are perfect for our little greenhouse, we took the easy road and used very thick super-sticky 2-sided tape (as seen on infomercials) to mount the solar panel, positioned the fans to blow out the open window. For the price, they are great and even though the fans are on the small side, they produce a surprising amount of air current.

Fans are very small
The fans do move some air although in the greenhouse where ours are bigger fans would do a better job at keeping down temps in hot dry weather.
