Step2 Naturally Playful Big Folding Slide for Toddlers

The media could not be loaded.  Overall it’s a pretty nice slide. We purchased the larger of the two sizes that step 2 makes for our 15minth old. He’s a fairly good climber and it is winter so he will be a bit larger and more skillful once we’re playing with it outside and spring. However he is a climber and he had a little bit of difficulty getting up the ladder at this age. Also assembly was easy but I did it with no direction at all they did not have pictures or anything included with the packaging. However it’s two different sizes of bolts and two screws so if you can figure out how to put some basic things together you can probably put this child’s toy together. However it would’ve been helpful to let purchasers know that there are two different size bolts for the safety arm underneath the slide. Other than that I can’t wait to get us out in the backyard and play with it once the weather warms up. My 2 year old daughter loves slides. I finally decided to buy a slide and put it in our living room. LOLThis has been buy far the ratio of kid entertainment per dollar of any toy I have ever bought for her.Note this is a big slide, and the kids go down fast. For the first week, she was definitely apprehensive about and it would use her feet to go down slowly. Now she goes whipping down it and runs around and climbs right back up again.The only down side is there are some sharp edges on the plastic from the mold parting line, which was very easy to trim away with a sharp knife.

The slide is great. Sturdy, good quality and I'm sure will last for years (my baby is 18 months old). The first time it arrived I was missing the packet that contained the instruction book and the bolts to attach the black support bar between the slide and the steps. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful in creating a return label and sent me out a new slide within a couple of days. The second slide arrived with all the pieces. I'm pretty sure the first slide I was sent must have been a return as not only were there pieces missing, but the box was all messed up and very poorly taped shut.Anyhow, it all worked out and the seller did a great job getting me a new item. Only hassle was having to repackage the defective slide and take the box to fedex (its a big box!) and also having to wait an extra week to get a complete slide. Despite this though I would recommend!

Very easy to assemble. It took longer to gather my tools than it did to actually put together. I found it necessary to tap a hole using hammer and nail to be able to screw the feet to the ladder. The plastic was too thick where the screw holes were supposed to be. This was the only deviation from the instructions. My daughter loves it. The slide action is perfect and seems very sturdy. She is a tall 2.5 year old and it's just the right size, and I imagine she will use it until 5.

I would buy this product again in a heartbeat at full price but this discounted price is a STEAL. The slides selling for $100 or less are cheaply made (even good brands) compared to this. I am usually a miser but this is a good investment. Once you fill with water you won't want to move it so being indesicive I wasn't sure where to put it. But because my daughter is not yet 2 she doesn't shake it when she uses it so I won't even have to bother with that hassle till next year.

My 2 year old grandson’s eyes lit up when he saw what came out of the big box. He only had to wait about 5 minutes for his daddy to set up his slide. Dad stood behind him as he climbed up, and showed him how to hold on to the side “arms” so he could sit with his legs in front of him, then wheeee! Pure joy on his face.The slide is well made with its green and tan colors blending nicely with the backyard environment. The broad base ensures the toy won’t tip over.If you have a child or grandchild in the recommended age range, you will not be sorry you bought this.

This purchase was a necessity. You see, my two year old son saw children on sliding boards on TV and began dragging his butt along the floor like a dog, all the while crying "Wee! Wee!" as though he were going down a sliding board. Well if my son wanted a sliding board that badly he was surely going to have one.It's a good, sturdy product, perfect for a toddler. It's winter now, so we keep it inside and can easily set it up in our small living room. It takes a big portion of space, but folds up nice and easily when not in use.The only worry I have about it is when climbing the ladder my son will sometimes remove both hands and be sort of reckless. I'm not sure the manufacturer can do anything about this, so we simply make sure we're fully attentive when he's playing with this and we make sure to always remind him to keep a firm grip.

Sturdy, stable base. Wide steps for little feet. Fast slide so need a little cushion for rear end landings until they learn to use feet landing. Love the earthy colors.
