The adjustable strap is a necessity to get the proper foot positioning. The quality is there with the metal buckles and the foam. I highly recommend this package over other ones that don't include the kneeling mat. The kneeling mat is essential if you have bad knees.If you have bands, and need help decelerating all the way to the floor, I recommend that you put a band around you and attack it to a door attachment, so that you work through the full range of motion.

This is a very good ham glute exercise item for the home gym. We use a 2” folded foam mat under the knees. A stronger family member uses the black mat included with the product to touch down under his hands when lowering to the ground, and I use the exercise ball at this time. I find that the thin black mat is too thin for comfort under the knees on the cement floor. Adjust the length of the cable on the foot piece to get the correct tension. I have used the tall, gym ‘horse’ ham glute developer, I use a (very heavy and pricey) floor model (which I like a lot) and this portable, reasonably priced product is good.

I was confused at first as to how this works as I expected it to have some Give like a rubber band. But it’s meant more for flexing type activity to build and tone muscles. It has worked great so far and I quickly felt the burn with doing few reps. It definitely works!

I've been looking at Nordic Hamstring Curl straps, checking out review and pics and videos. It seems that most of the ones available on Amazon are pretty much the same, and many have the same complaints, so when I saw this one - the Bilbear Nordic Hamstring Curl Strap with Kneeling Mat - available on Vine, I ordered it.First off, it has no chemical or rubber smells or strong smells of any kind. In addition to the strap itself, it comes with a small rubber mat for your knees, like a thinner miniature yoga mat - and a bag to put everything in.Overall this item looked like the pics on the listing, and worked as expected. The strap is really really long, but you can use the buckle to shorten it. We found it easier to use as a foot holddown than for Nordic hamstring curls, but successfully did both repeatedly. The mat is a little thinner that my yoga mat, and it's not that large, so you need to keep your knees in the same spot on the floor if you use it. The foam is pretty comfortable, the door anchor is huge - I can't imagine a door is could slip under.One of the complaints I read on other Nordic Hamstring Curl mats was true of this one, also - the buckle slips as you work out, so the strap gets a very tiny bit longer with each rep, but if you do a number of reps, that slippage becomes noticeable. Our other issue is how narrow the foot holders are from one side of one to the other side of the other. My husband has size 12 feet, and in his shoes, he had to keep his feet crammed together. I have much smaller but wider feet, and I found I wanted more space so my feet could be a little further apart.Is the Bilbear Nordic Hamstring Curl Strap with Kneeling Mat for you? Well, if you prefer keeping your feet together when doing sit-ups, crunches, Nordic hamstring curls and other exercises you use a foot holddown for, you may find this very useful. Yes, the strap slips, but as far as I can tell, this is common to all similar products. I might have given this 3 stars, but because price, features and issues seem to similar to competitors, I'm giving it 4 stars based on comparable items. Happy training!

Gave it as a Christmas gift and overall he loved it it was very effective way to work out while he was in his dorm room and it is very reasonable for the price the quality of the bar is amazing and it’s very sturdy with using your own doors!

Brilliant for sit ups and other excercises that require your feet to be secured.Well made and easy to use, just put the door anchor under your door and away you go.It’s also adjustable.Comes with a little mat, that a tad too small to be really of any use, and a carry bag.

The item had marks where it clearly had been previously used. My husband wasn’t happy so we returned it.
