This is a lovely book well put together with lots of information,Would make a nice gift.

I really liked the hand drawn pictures highlighting the important parts on the plant to notice.Good. Practical write up of each plant. Description and Uses.Clear and enjoyable to read.I gave this as a gift to a friend but would have loved one for myself!

Love this book, very useful, informative and well illustrated. I bought it with another and combine the two for info and recipes.

A beautiful book with some lovely old recipes and wonderful drawings... a real delight to look through and a wonderful gift for an Aunt, Mother, Grandmother or Sister who loves the countryside.It feel lovely in the hand and is printed on lovely paper - very impressed and have bought two so far.And no I do not know either author, publisher or have been paid to write this... it’s just a delight!

What can we say other than an easy to read book that provides a basic but essential guide on foraging amongst the hedgerows. Not only that it provides recipes and other simple health applications for those who want the benefits of leading a more inexpensive healthy life! The book is wonderfully illustrated with both black and white and colourful illustrations making for easier classification and recognition of the wonderful bounties of the UK hedgerows. Good price for a sturdy hardback that will fit comfortably into a large pocket or medium size handbag. Great find! Arrived on time and was packed securely.

I have given this book as a present 3 times as I think it’s absolutely amazing. I recommend it to anyone who likes picking hedgerows or just the British Country side. The illustrations are wonderful and the information is brilliant. Recipes, remedies and facts. A must have for any bookshelf.
