Even though I can now see that the listing states it's a roof bag, the picture makes it look more like a box and that's what I was expecting.However, having now used it for a trip to the seaside, I am pleased to report that it functions amazingly well and I shall be using it more regularly for such trips in the future.The big pros for this are that when not in use, it's much easier to store (especially as we don't have a garage or a shed) - so it just folds back into it's storage bag and will likely just sit in our boot. Had it been a box, we would've struggled for somewhere to store it.It's really easy to fit on our Nissan Juke... no roof bars, so using the door hook method, which I wasn't too keen on the idea of - but then I realised that we're not likely to have all the doors open whilst in movement, so it will be perfectly secure.It fit's so much in... as I said it was only a little trip to the seaside, but we were able to put all the usual stuff that normally went in the boot into the roof bag, which freed up the boot to allow us to take our camping chairs. Not that we needed them, as when we got to the seaside the tide was in and we ended up sat in a fish and chip cafe for the afternoon... but I digress. The space was there and were able to take much more with us than we previously would've been able.A fantastic piece of much needed space making solution for our Juke.

This is a roof bag, not a roof box. Very sturdy and easy to install and fill. It can be tricky to get it even all over so it doesn’t sag but once you’ve figured that out it’s fantastic

I have never seen roof car bag like this before, only proper big plastic storage boxes. This has huge potential when comes to storage without loosing at practicality. When folded and stored, it takes very little room and truth is, most of the time it is not used, only when going on holiday so great for that. When actually erected, It works as any other roof boxes for storing items. Super easy to set it up, it doesn’t need to use railing, simply locks in between frame of the car. Not very invasive and offers lots of space as well security. It comes with padlock so lock it and prevent other people from opening it. Material used if fully waterproof and in hand feels very durable, resistant for tear. At this price it is amazing roof bag, definitely comes handy in my euro trip.

This roof storage bag is ideal for if you do not have storage for a roof box but need that extra space on journeys. It folds down and comes with a storage bag so can be stored anywhere.The pictures are somewhat deceiving, as it makes it appear like a rigid box which is not the case. It is intact a bag that can be used to store items, and keep them waterproof. As a result, the bag does not look as neat as shown in the pictures when in use.The bag is advertised as being used with or without roof racks, however, it does not have a solid base, so I was reluctant to place this directly onto the roof, especially with a sunroof. I did try but found it very fiddly and meant I had to pull the door seals away which I was not keen to do.It can contain a decent amount of items, so does help with storage. It feels quite well made and sturdy. The material is thick, it is all well sewn with no loose edges, and the zip is sturdy too.Overall, this bag does work well at keeping items dry and safe during transit. It feels well made, is waterproof and has good storage space. I'd recommend it but bare in mind it is a bag, not a case.

This roof bag is really useful for giving you extra stowage capacity when travelling. If like me you have kids and a dog there's no end of stuff you need and this bag with its 15 cubic fot capacity is great.It states you can use with or without roof bars. I have roof bars so I use then to secure the bag to, otherwise the strap system clips to the seamline of your vehicle, but you need to dislodge the rubber door seals to do so.The bad itself is very good quality, and has a rubberised fabric that makes it waterproof.All the zips and joints are very well stitched together and very strong.It Co.es with an antislpi Mat that you place over the roof first before putting the bag onto to assist in reducing movement and sliding around. Not sure it's really needed if you strap in down tightly.It's pretty easy to attach and strap to the roof and the straps are adjustable with good length.The product Co.es with a storage bag and when folded and placed in the its pretty compact when not using.Overall a great quality item.

No where near as solid as the advert suggests. Just sags everywhere, no shape to it at all. Packed and repacked countless times, gave up in the end and put the roof box back on.
