LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS HAIR DYE!
I have been colouring my hair (mostly purple) for more than 10 years now, and I think I've used every brand on the market.Arctic Fox is without a doubt, my absolute favourite!!When I started, I used Crazy colour, but it faded to green and had to be reapplied at least every 2 weeks - it was exhausting!! And it would transfer onto my pillow covers and towels too, so I started using other brands. However, even they didn't last very long, and unless I mixed my own colours (adding lots of pink) my hair would wash out green! I was having problems with my shoulders (they dislocate when I move the wrong way) so repeatedly dying my hair was becoming a big problem.Someone suggested this brand to me, and I was sceptical as it was more than double the price of every other brand...But then I used it and realised why!! This does not fade to green. It takes ages to fade at all, but when it does, it fades in every shade of purple imaginable, until its almost silver. Now, I can get away with dying my hair a couple of times a year - its literally changed my life...I no longer have to go through extreme pain every 2 weeks to dye my hair!Personally, I use it about every 3 months, just to keep the colour bright - plus my natural hair is very dark brown, so those roots with lilac aren't always ideal. However, I have let it go longer a few times, when the pain is just too much, and I don't need to feel embarrassed going out with very badly washed out hair dye in the meantime! And to top it all off, it smells AMAZING!! No awful hair dye smells. Instead it smells like bubblegum 💙I cannot recommend this hair dye enough, I think it is, without a doubt, the best you can possible get. Double the price initially, but only used a fraction of the time, so it actually works out cheaper than those other awful brands.

Worth the price
I love Arctic Fox! I think they have the longest lasting and best extreme colour hair dyes - at least in comparison to the extensive list of drugstore brands I tried. The colours are vibrant, it is easy to use and lasts a long time and the shades are just as described - I use 5 different colours on rotation and I also mix some to get custom shades. I have dry fine fair that hates colouring, but I found this brand to be much less harsh on my hair than most others. They are on the pricier side but super worth it so I will be sticking to Arctic Fox going forward.

Gorgeous colour, smells great, doesn't take to virgin hair
Gorgeous colour. Smells fantastic. Came out more of a pinky-red than a true pink on my hair, probably because my hair had previously been an orangy red. Even though it's not quite as planned, I still love it. It's a fun vibrant colour. It's nowhere near as messy as I was expecting from some reviews. The consistency is great, thick enough to not drip but thin enough to spread. I followed the instructions by rinsing with my head over the bath for the first rinse to avoid getting the colour all down me, but I'm not sure that was fully necessary.I used up a whole tube on my bra strap length hair. Would probably want to have a second tube on hand next time just in case to make sure I get even consistency. As expected it did not stick to virgin roots, because it's supposed to be used on pre-lightened hair. Note that it's not the "lightness" that seems to be important, but the roughing up of the cuticle. The rest of my hair was darker than my roots but previously dyed and it took really well there.Knocked a star off because it's a lot more hassle than a usual direct deposit dye like the Wella colour fresh mask. With the pre-wash and dry it's more hassle even than a standard box dye, but it still doesn't touch the roots. Not fully convinced that the extra hassle is worth it.Will be trying with a bleach bath as the pre-washing step next time. That will hopefully lighten the roots enough for them to absorb the colour, and strip out some of the orangy tones from my old dye. Wouldn't do that every time as I don't want to fry my hair.

pretty colour
a really nice colour, looks good on my dark hair. because it’s semi permanent it does come out when hair is wet. i once stained a white t-shirt because it rained so much but it washed out easily.

Worse make I've tryed so far. Sludge green.
Horrible.I followed the instructions and get I got a sludgy moss green.I have been bleaching and dying my hair off and on for years to keep my hair healthy. This is the worst outcome I've ever had.It isn't Emerald at all.The only plus side is it smell nice.

Couldn’t recommend more!
Best lasting colour I’ve ever used! Every other one had washed out and gone greeny-brown by the third wash and this has lasted at least 8 washes and has gone to a nice enough blue instead that finally now needs to be redone. I couldn’t recommend this more!

Amazing
Photo doesn't show the colour as good. But it's so beautiful. Does wash out alot but stays a lovely colour for a good while. Everyone compliments me on how beautiful and shiny it is. Defo recommend this colour. My hair wasn't bleached first just straight on.

So disappointed
It smells beautiful and comes off skin easily. But it turned my medium brown hair blue instead of green. It's a lovely hair colour but I really didn't want it. Unfortunately I cannot bleach my hair out without causing damage now so I just have to let it fade or buy yellow dye.
