The media could not be loaded. For the price this projector is incredible if you understand its limitations and give it optimal conditions under which to work.In a dark room, decent screen to project on and some tinkering with a few sound and other settings then it’s really good.

The media could not be loaded. Curtains open and ceiling lights on I can watch this thing and see everything in the daytime.Want a quiet fan noise at night when watching movies? You can turn the fan noise down in return for losing some luminance, actually not that much luminance sacrificed though.Was told it'll only read 1TB hard drive but reads my 2TB external hard drive full with all my shows and movies (must format your drive as "fat32", not exfat or ntfc. I used aomei partition software to do this)The on screen brightness, saturation, hue, colour temperature, contrast and sharpness are really useful to adjust to taste.Adjust the bass and treble of the built in speaker, actually pretty decentb and goes pretty loud, I just use the aux cable for big speakers during movie nights.The built in USB sockets actually give decent power too, so you can power an Amazon fire stick right from the projector, no wall plug needed.The focus wheel is nice and accurate and focus is great.Buttons on the remote have a nice feel to them, small but nice detail.The company actually is good to communicate with, replied quick to my email about what size mounting screws it uses (M5).

This is a great little projector that does have a few quirks and unfortunately one or two things that mean that it's not a full five stars, but without a doubt it a solid 4 stars. First things first, this doesn't come with any smart functionality built in, which in 2024 is quite surprising as there are so many projectors out there now running Android TV. Having Android TV means that you've got a basic apps built in without having to worry about an additional import such as a fire stick or casting. You have the apps baked right into the software. Sadly, this projector does not have that.The second thing is the power cord on the back means that when you are placing this on a shelf, the power cord adds about an extra inch or two onto the length of the projector, which makes it a little bit more difficult to be on a shelf. It would be such a benefit to have the charging power port on the side of the unit. That way you could push it right up against the back wall without having to have it dangle over a shelf.However, once you get past these things, the quality is fantastic. The speakers are actually good enough, and it's so easy, simple and easy to use. You can cast it from most Android and iOS devices, but one thing to be mindful of is that for some reason, Google does not pixels to use the same casting software as other Android devices.Overall, a solid projector that works well, looks great, or is missing a few of the finer details and features in 2024.

Gen 3 PJ40 Review: Good device overall, but has a major dust problem. Found dust inside within 1 hour of unboxing and it's impossible to remove. Can't tell if unit was used before, but either way, this seems like a design flaw. Everything else works great, but the dust issue is a dealbreaker.

After quite some indecision and doubt about buying a budget projector I am very pleased with the PJ40.I have it coupled with a PS5, a Chromecast and some active speakers. Very please with the result.

t's a good projector and has good picture quality when projecting on a white wall. It has good features like zooming, titling, wifi enabled and I can use Amazon firestick directly using an HDMI port, there are two HDMI ports on it. It has a good remote control to fine tune your images and videos. The 4k is supported but I haven't seen much difference so far however 1080p looks just fine. I think that this mini projector is more suitable for home use and for kids to watch their movies on the walls or outdoors though it has to be used in dark nights to see anything on it properly outdoors. For indoors, it is just fine. For office use or for presentations, it is just ok but not great but I don't blame it for that, some office projectors that I have used are very expensive so for the price it is still great.There are options to connect your iphone or android phone to the projector however I have struggled with connection, even after successfully connecting to the wifi correctly. The projector has an in-built mini stand however it is not that effective. No white sheet is provided to watch your videos on so you have to source that yourself or just use a white wall but what to do if you don't have a white wall in your house, I don't know. May be I will paint one of my living room walls to white to have clear picture.Overall happy with the product and happy to use it for home and kids. Highly recommended!
