Fit nice on my savage long action 7mm Mag > 110 Made in 1999 has a good feel kind of dropped right in , you will need to go to the hard ware store to get a 15 Cent washer to put under long front screw on trigger guard took a while to fig that out ! when Torqued to speck my rifle bolt would not move i guess the cheap skates cant send a washer with the stock but all is good

I got a Hogue stock for a mini 14 last year and just loved the feel of it so I decided to get one for my older Savage 110. It is perfect! It fit like a glove. The only issue was the front trigger screw seated too deep and it obstructed the bolt operation. I just shimmed the trigger guard with a few washers so it didn't seat so deep into the stock and the problem was solved. It didn't take me 10 minutes to install this stock. If you have never held a rifle with a Hogue stock installed you are missing a grip that is unmatched! I had another aftermarket stock on this rifle before. I will not mention the brand but I will say I paid a lot more for it several years ago. It was difficult to install, the grip left a lot to be desired and the felt recoil was quite harsh. This Hogue stock is far superior to anything else you can get for the venerable Savage 110. Also, it looks Great!! Looks like a brand new rifle.

Much nicer stock than the original synthetic. I like the rubbery feel, its very easy to hang on to. The stock is quite a bit heavier than my original, which I prefer as it cuts recoil down. When installing, I could not tighten the screws completely as it caused my action to lock. I researched online and found that I needed to add some washers to the screw head so it didn't go in as far. No biggie, but I feel the stock should have came with the washers or instructions regarding this issue.

I absolutely love this gunstock. It's rubberized overmold and textured grip gives my old Savage 110 a modern look and feel. I wish I could say it was a drop in install but it did need an eighth of an inch of the stock ground out where the front side of the hidden magazine housing met. Also the aluminum rear thru mold bushing was not thoroughly machined flat so that needed to be ground down a bit to allow a perfect seat which insured a full floating barrel.

Very nice addition to my Savage 110e 30.06, I'd stopped using it due to the weight but the Hogue stock was a dream come true. After reading the instructions it was a drop in install, the fit and finish was perfect. Fast shipping accurate description I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to drop a few pounds off their Savage 110

Great looking replacement and the feel is incredible, had to shim the rear screw because the original screw was a bit to long.
