Good deal on motor controllers
These L298N motor controllers from WWZMDiB are a good deal. They are well made, and each controller can drive two motors. My son is using these for an RC tank that he is designing, and they are working great so far.The product description has the necessary wiring diagrams to get you up and running quickly.

Solid L298N boards - great for DC and stepper motor control
These L298N dual H-bridge boards are pretty much the same as what I've purchased elsewhere previously, and they perform as expected - they're a good value as a bulk purchase (4 pcs). I'm using these in some hobby robotics / RC projects to control small-to-medium DC motors, and the occasional stepper. With the typical (for L298N/BJT bridges) 2-ish volt drop from source to output, I can use a 6x NiMH stack to power a 6V motor at nearly full voltage. The input is simple - two inputs + an enable pin for each channel. You can choose to feed PWM strictly through the In1/In2 pins, if you want auto-braking, or you can feed the PWM through the enable channel for coasting mode. While they're not as power-efficient as a MOSFET-based driver, they are inexpensive and robust. I'm happy to have these on hand - I'm using more of them than I had expected!
