First, the portable charger does work. It does charge by the sun but I wouldn't depend on just the solar charge. I would charge it with the cord and use the sun or any bright light as a backup. The charge does last a while. It has a flashlight and a compass which comes in handy. I love the light for when there is no light. It's a sturdy charger. I would buy again.

I'm sorry but this was not worth it. It would charge my phone down instead of up, won't charge via usb-c. The flashlight was bright and would charge nicely with the sun butphone charging wise not worth it.

I like this because you don't have to charge it up.You can leave it out in the sun Or Put it in the window and let it charge up.I also like this because it does really good on Charging my phone and I love the lil light

I used this in the field with army training, and it worked very well. Good charging speed, the box itself charges really fast, and it has 2 spots to plug cords in. It doesn’t have a spot to use a usb-c charger though, which is one downside to it. It has a clasp on it to attach to your bag so it can solar charge. When charging it, it uses a usb-c cord.

I usually, charge this at night and then, set out in the sun during the day. It will charge my NOTE 9 for about 2-3 days.

We have a couple of these and love them! It charges rather quick and last a long time.

Poor quality product. I finally got to to go camping this weekend. Totally primitive site. I was depending on this to have as backup to charge my phone. It worked great for one charge, then it wouldn't work at all, even after fully charging in my vehicle. Very disappointed.
