Around Britain is a collection of wonderful illustrations that capture some of the most beautiful areas of the great British countryside – and this 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle titled Whitby harbour, North Yorkshire is no exception to this range within the Falcon de luxe brand. The puzzle image illustrates a charming picturesque scene of the seaside town and port, Whitby. It’s hard to believe the image is a painting when you look at the detail of the sea water, houses and the church of Saint Mary at the top of the hill. The idyllic sunny seaside town looks extremely peaceful, with a lifeboat navigating into port, and a handful of people fishing off the harbour arm - you can almost hear the gentle sounds of the seagulls overhead, and the calm water in this beautiful harbour. This beautiful 1000 piece painting has been produce by the very talented artist Richard harpum, and is sure to bring lots of pleasure to anyone who loves piecing together harbours and scenery jigsaw puzzles. The finished size of the 1000 piece puzzle measures 68 x 49cm (approximately) and has been produced using a high quality cardboard to ensure every jigsaw piece maintains its original shape time and time again. WHITBY JIGSAW
This jigsaw has been bought as a Christmas present and not for me so I haven't opened the box to see the jigsaw pieces. I have no doubt it will be okay as I have had this make of jigsaw before. I bought this particular one as Whitby is a special place for the person that I am giving it to so I expect it will be happily received and used.
