Very pleased!
I received ‘The Cannon’ several days ago and couldn’t be more pleased.I purchased the ’Cannon Hose Nozzle’ for what I consider a little unusual reason. I garden quite extensively in my rather small front and back yards. When I go on vacation, I needed a quality hose that could stand being out in the elements for extended periods to deliver water to my collection of raised beds. The problems using this commercial grade hose is it is too rigid. It can handle extreme water pressures and the elements; however, the plastic nozzles and aluminum wands I generally use break very easily under such conditions.I broke 2 nozzles and an aluminum wand, used for gentle watering, while connected to the hose. One of the plastic nozzles actually snapped in half and it was still new!As soon as I opened the package, looked and held the ‘Cannon’, I knew this would last more than a lifetime. The design, materials and craftsmanship used to make this nozzle are excellent. While I have one of those older style ‘fire hose’ nozzles, I don’t care to use it as you cannot stop the flow of water immediately like you can with the trigger or ‘gun’ shaped nozzles. With the ‘Cannon’, I don’t need any other nozzle or wand. With the plastic nozzles, they only allow you 6 settings and you must adjust the flow of water at the spigot in order to get lighter or stronger sprays. The ‘Cannon’ allows me to release the trigger and flow of water adjust the spray from a full jet to fine mist spray within a matter of seconds. I can now water all my plants in the garden without having to return to the spigot to increase or decrease the volume of water in order to get the desired water flow, I am now able to do everything I want just by making adjustments to the nozzle right in my hand. When I need to move to another area of the yard, I just unscrew from that hose and move to another hose. The ‘Cannon’ also allows this rigid hose to become much more manageable. The other hoses work well with the ‘Cannon’ terrifically as well. The ‘Cannon’ has an excellent design, superior materials and quality craftsmanship all at an incredibly low price. You definitely get more bang for your buck with the ‘Cannon’!A bonus to purchasing the 'Cannon', once you create an account online, this company has books and videos on gardening for you to download for 'FREE'.Thank you, OutbackTUFF, for such a great product and for keeping jobs in the U.S.A.

VERY high price....VERY under engineered! Not well thought out design!
Very disappointed....Appears to be made well..Nice and solid...But1: Very small overall size..I am by no means a large guy, but the overall size of the sprayer is very small in the hand, making it VERY uncomfortable to hold and awkward to squeeze. Using the sprayer for more than a couple minutes is very difficult.Maybe a good choice for a midget or children?2: Lots of pinch points. The squeeze trigger in not well designed. Edges of the trigger are not rounded, actually tend to be rather squared off.I found squeezing it would pinch the palm of my hand near the base of my fingers.3: Low Flow.. Low Volume sprayer...Water Saver?Takes forever to fill a bucket or rinse a car.May be OK if your looking to conserve water, but be prepared to spend lots of extra time to get any water involved task done.4: Spray pattern was very lopsidedWhen set to spray in a mist pattern of any sort mine always sprayed off to one side... never a complete circular mist like any other sprayed I have used5:Lock to maintain spaying feels cheapJust a flimsy piece of wire. No way to adjust water volume..Its either full blast or off.Not how a high priced premium sprayer should be.

It looks different because it is different!
Finally a water hose nozzle that doesn't leak. That's right folks, none, zero. zip and nada! If it does ever leak, it's user serviceable. No I am not crazy, it really is user serviceable. Yes you heard right, you can actually replace the "O" rings yourself and they even give you spare "O" rings should you ever need to swap them out. This is one of the few items in the world that was not designed with planned obsolescence in mind. In fact, once you see it, it's clear that it is well made and made to last. Better hang on because it has a lot of pressure. This nozzle generates as much pressure as one can possibly get without a powered pressure washer. If your familiar with a pressure washer this nozzle acts like a zero degree tip. It does take a decent grip to operate this nozzle so if you hand strength is on the weaker side this may not be a good choice for you. Having said that you can squeeze it on and use the lock feature so maybe that's not a real consideration. It looks very much like a simple old style pistol grip nozzle you remember the type with the adjustable nut on the back. It's nothing like that really it has a real nice brass adjuster on the front and a replaceable tip in the nose. I tried the high pressure tip and it has a ton of power and distance but very little volume. I prefer the volumeizer tip it still has good pressure but allows for more water to flow and better for watering the lawn.guaranteed for life makes this the last nozzle you will ever buy period! If it's so good, why just 4 stars? Because of the relatively low volume it does take much longer to water the lawn than typical nozzles do. Maybe an even larger tip would solve this issue? My other observations is the handle is short, tiny in fact its designed for little hands. It wasn't uncomfortable for my 4" wide hand but you might want to rethink this and make a model for larger man hands. 'If your tired of getting soaked by leaky nozzles, that you have to replace every year, because they are made to fail, forcing you to constantly waste your time and money, then this is your nozzle! Not perfect but close. .

Not for me
I bought this to clean the car in the hope it would provide a good strong jet, improving on the standard brass fitting I have used until now. This under-performed in that it reduced the pressure and provided a very narrow jet. Not suited to car washing and the pressure drop means it is of little use as a pressure-washer.On the spray settings, it has a limited range, meaning you have to get quite close to the target area to get anything wet and stay there for a long time.It is well made and robust, but I have reverted to the standard brass fitting for the car and a plastic adjustable spray head for the garden (combined price less than half that of this product). Will be looking to pass this one of in due course

I was surprised to receive a multiple page complicated email ...
I was surprised to receive a multiple page complicated email on how to service this product immediately after ordering . It also came with spare parts to repair leaks . These factors suggest that there are problems and required a lot of maintenance . I tried it out once to see how well it performed . Although it worked very well and shot water a long distance , however I compared it to simple tiny nozzle that uses 3 ball bearings to adjust the stream and found no difference . Repackaged and returned .

it's doing the job ok now but lets see what a good hard winter does to it
It's ok, i'd say a bit over hyped!, it's a bit fiddly however the main reason i bought it was to see if it stands the test of time, it's doing the job ok now but lets see what a good hard winter does to it!

Contains parts that rust
Very good at adjusting the spray, needs a lot of power to turn the nozzle though. Unfortunately after only a few weeks it started to rust in two places, see attached photos. It also started to leak water heavily from the spout, this is when I stopped using it.
