Sad but I can't see this selling. It's a great idea ... according to the packet there's 2 BILLION plastic toothbrushes in landfills and so this is their way of addressing that by these biodegradable bamboo toothbrushes. I would have thought this is the sort of thing you'd sell to British Airways or a hotel chain but on Amazon ? I can't really see it as everyone nowadays buys electric toothbrushes as they are so much better. I just don't see anyone shopping on Amazon for a disposable toothbrush

Very strong and light toothbrush, that feels nice to hold. The bristles are soft with a curved edge, and feel nice on your teeth and gums. This brush cleans your teeth very well. A biodegradable toothbrush is a great idea, considering the amount of plastic toothbrushes a person will go through in her life. This product is nicely designed and I prefer it to normal plastic toothbrushes.

Good quality product, the timber texture is a bit weird at first but thats not a fault of the product, just different to the plastic brushes i'm used to. Would buy again

This is the worst toothbrush I have ever owned. It is not Oral Health Foundation approved and is not recognised as a valuable aid to achieving good oral health.It does state in the description that the bristles are soft but they are simply too soft to be of any use and do not clean the teeth. They are very wiry and as a result just jab at the gum line causing damage. The bristles are set too deeply from the edge at the head. I can't clean my back teeth without smashing the wood into the back of my mouth.I could probably get over the very odd feeling of having a chip shop stick/lolly pop stick/wood tongue depress in my mouth. The handle is too much longer than a normal brush.If you fancy a very odd sensory experience followed by frustration and shredded gums then this is the perfect brush for you. I've literally had a better experience with a stick (Miswak).

The ethical reasons for buying this product are noble. It comes from a sustainable resource and apparently bamboo is naturally antiseptic. Though I query the second claim as I had a bamboo nail brush in the past that soakedup moisture and dididnt look too healthy.However avoiding this conjecture, there a few things you instantly notice when you put the item in your mouth. Namely, the smell and taste. It's very woody and personally I prefer just to taste toothpaste rather than this.Also the brush size for an adult male is too small. The handle is manageable but the head feels too thin and ineffective.I honestly wanted to like this brush but aside from these issues, when you compare it to a cheap 99p brush from a well known high street chemist, the cheaper brush cleans your teeth better with its fuller head.For those wanting an effective clean, you should consider an electric brush or something with a wider head or with flossing bristles built in.While I could certainly overcome the smell and taste of this brush, until they design something with a wider/fuller head I would suggest to avoid it or at least make sure you also use another brush as well.

I wanted this to work for me a lot better than it does.I'll opt for anything that cuts down my plastic waste, if the price premium isn't too much - though this product is borderline too expensive for me. It's a fantastic idea, but there are just too many cons for me:Not that comfortable to holdSize of bristle area makes it difficult to get to my awkward wisdom teethThe bristles are too rough on my sensitive gums, and caused them to bleedAll that said, I think this would be a great toothbrush for going on holiday, especially if you're going on an "eco"/nature-y kind of holiday - buy it, use it, discard it guilt-free afterwards.

I had reservations about using a wooden toothbrush as I was concerned about the feel of the wood in my mouth compared to the plastic ones I am accustomed to. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the lightness of the brush, and the smoothness of the bamboo. The product is just as hygienic and effective as its plastic competitors and has all of the added benefits of being better for the environment, sustainably sourced and responsibly made.When compared to some modern toothbrushes with their different length, colour and shape bristles, this brush looks a little basic - but it cleans just as well as one of the flashier ones (or at least feels like it). Considering this along with the thoughtfulness of it's construction, I don't think I'd go back to buying a plastic modern brush again.Also, the 'buy one, give one' scheme where they donate one toothbrush to the needy for every one bought, is absolutely fantastic, and helps give a little back.

The toothbrush is solid and natural looking. It has a bamboo-like smell and stiff bristles. It seems just as functional as a normal plastic toothbrush to me, so is suitable for anyone who wants to eliminate plastic from his or her dental hygiene.

Ich liebe meine Bambus Zahnbürste. Ich mache mir auch Zahncreme selber und damit macht Zähneputzen noch mehr Spass und es ist ökologisch top.

デザインはとても可愛いが、1ヶ月ほと使い続けているうちに毛が1束抜けてしまい残念でした。

ブラシの毛の部分の柔らかさも、竹の部分の口当たりも問題なく申し分ないのですが、芯が分厚くできているためヘッドがむちゃくちゃ大きいです。そのため奥歯までブラシが届かず、また、口に入れた時ヘッドが大きすぎてそれが不快で、数日使用しましたが歯磨きが苦痛になってしまい使用を断念しました。環境へ配慮したものとしてこういったものがたくさん出て欲しいですが、結局使い心地がよくないと永く使用できないし、永く使用できないと意味がない。とても残念ですがプラスチック製でヘッドが小さくきちんと歯が磨けるものに立ち戻ってしまいました。
