I was a little nervous ordering this AC adapter for my Dell notebook, because many of the aftermarket adapters listed for my Dell actually do not work with this Dell model. The vendors typically ask the buyer to check dimensions of the plug first to ensure a proper fit, even when they list it as an exact replacement for this Dell computer. This adapter works perfectly, even though it was far cheaper than the Dell and even other off-brand makes. The only downside is that the plug is slightly longer than the Dell adapter, so that it will not insert completely in the power jack. It still works, but it is easy to pull out accidentally if you are moving the computer around. Overall, I am quite pleased. I marked it down to 4 stars only because of the slightly loose (but manageable) plug.

Exactly like the one I previously had which was a refurbished original, but it actually ended up getting broken recently, so I had to buy an after market universal kit from Walmart because I was in a pinch. I don't even know HOW the center prong broke, so I'm not sure if it was a quality issue or user error, my daughter is destructive, so she could have easily yanked it out of the wall the wrong way, but I will never know.

Product worked well for 6 months, then suddenly stopped working. I contacted the vendor, LHYSFIY INC. Within hours, they told me they would be shipping a replacement product. They did not ask any questions or hesitate in any way. Would have rated 5 stars if product had not stopped working so soon. If it stops working after the 1-year warranty, that is not so bad considering that it is much less expensive than the OEM product.

My old power supply cord was ruined by my grandson. He pulled the cord and exposed inter wired and it started arching. I ordered this new one. It actually seems a little more secure where the wires are connected to power supply box. The cord length was good also. Best purchase!

Plugged the charger into my Dell Inspiron laptop and it immediately started charging the battery, and has maintained a full charge for the last couple of days. This is a MAJOR improvement over the three year old piece of junk that came with my laptop. No software or power profile issues with the new charger, and when my replacement (non-Dell, less-than-half-the-cost-of-Dell) battery arrives, I won't have any of Dell's ridiculous "we won't recognize your battery because of a chip in your charger" issues.Only issue I have experienced with the charger is the barrel plug that inserts into the laptop, which appears to be slightly smaller in diameter than the plug on my original, now-in-the-recycle-bin charger. The plug comes out of the socket in the laptop VERY easily, so it's easy to accidentally disconnect the charger.

Matched OEM part number for my Dell supplied adapter to purchase additional adapters for convenience. Bought 2 for my identical Dell laptops. Both of these adapters seem to perform identically to Dell OEM adapter. Neither laptop senses that a different adapter is being used, they seem to charge at the same speed, the adapters reach the same degree of warmth when charging and these adapters stop charging when a full charge is reached. These are also visually just about identical to the originals, including power indicator light. The only thing different is that a different AC cord style was used. Unless these fail prematurely these are great. Should that occur I will update my review.

Worked fine on my Dell Inspiron 15 3511 laptop. Much less expensive than a spare from Dell!
