I have used this hair oil for a month and here is my honest review!As far as hair growth, it has been slow, however I have noticed less patchy spots which was a major insecurity.The scent of the oil isn't terrible. I think it's milder when compared to other hair products.My hair is really soft and my scalp feels hydrated. It's definitely on the heavier side which I belive is not good for my thin hair.However, when I didn't use the product, I noticed more than usual hair fallout. This concerns me because do I have to continue using this product forever to not have a wad!?!I do like this product though.

Very moisturizingUpdated review: Recently had a flare up of my scalp where very thick patches of dandruff could be combed off my scalp, severe itching, and no type of ACV peppermint coconut avacodo or black seed oil would work. I washed n finger scrubbed my scalp then had to deeply comb through each strand with a fine tooth comb and scrub a fine tooth comb over my whole scalp to remove every bit of thickened dandruff. I immediately used this oil after deeply exfoliating n washing my scalp and finally felt total relief after 2 miserable weeks of suffering with my symptoms. It felt so relieving. I left the product in my hair for two days before washing it out. My scalp usually sucks the oil up in seconds n the next day it’s dry n itchy again but this kept my hair and scalp so well moisturized I no longer wash it out as directed. My hair remains baby soft and my scalp feels airy clean n stays moisturized for days. I use this now as a scalp n hair oil whenever my scalp feels it needs it n it will now be the only product I use at this time. I trust the product n even better I don’t need much. It stays solid in the jar and melts into my scalp. It can be pretty greasy to not wash out if your scalp is naturally oily but if it sucks up oils like mines does it’s the perfect solution. I use it with a blow dryer to make it a hot oil treatment or just to warm up the oil already applied to my scalp n it’s been great. I wish it came in a bigger jar

smelled weird and felt greasy

I have frizzy, curly hair that tends to have a mind of its own. I have tried many products over the years with varying degrees of success but love to try new products in the hopes of finding the ‘perfect’ product for my hair. This Batana oil falls into the successes category for me. It’s not perfect but definitely not a failure. The first time I used it I just left it in my hair and didn’t wash it out. My hair was not overly greasy from this and definitely seemed softer. Since then I have used this product a couple of times and have washed it out. My hair still has more frizz than I would like but this product has helped tame the frizzies and my hair is definitely softer. I absolutely love the smell of this product and after rubbing the product in my hands I just smell that coffee smell for a couple of minutes. I find it quite heavenly and, admittedly, my favorite part of this product. For the current price of around $30 you get two 3.53 oz jars and a nice little bamboo comb. The jars may seem small but a little product will go a long way and with my below the shoulder length hair these two jars should last me a few months.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

My hair stylist told me that my individual hairs are thin, but I have lots of it. Basically, I don't have tons of body to my curly hair so I can't use hair products that weigh my hair down. This Batana oil is a bit heavy for my hair so I can't use it very often. However, there are times my hair seems lifeless with no shine, so I reach for an oil treatment. This Batana oil did give me the shine I wanted but I sacrificed body. I will continue to use this on occasion, but I can't see me using it within my daily or weekly routine.

'm in love with this batana raw oil. The formula is incredible; if it is cold, it is firm, and when it gets warm, it becomes liquid like coconut oil but so much better. I have previously ordered batana oil in liquid form. While I still use it, I find this formula much easier for styling because it doesn't drip while you apply it. If you have curly hair, I recommend ordering this one. I have used many oils before, and none come even close to batana oil. Batana oil moisturizes my hair and leaves my hair looking healthy without being too greasy. I also like the comb it came with because it is gentle on my scalp compared to my plastic comb. Although I love it, it might not be for everyone because it does have a scent. I find the scent comforting, and it takes me back to memories of being in nature. It might sound cliché or funny, but it smells like if one picks up coffee beans in the Amazon. I highly recommend this batana oil. I give it five stars all the way.
