olive wood honey pot with honey spoon / honey deeper / jar

This is a truly beautiful item, the colour and grain of the olive wood look just right for a honey pot, it's very easy to use and certainly beats the hassle of a jar or the inevitable mankiness of a squeeze bottle.I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about, the 'poor quality wood' is nowhere to be seen here, as for a 'rough' finish, this is a handmade product. It will therefore not be perfectly machined to an exacting standard, as far as I'm concerned it all adds to the charm.Maybe it could do with being a bit bigger, but if you're a light honey user (like me) then it shouldn't be an issue.Overall, a fantastic piece for a reasonable price and a work of art in it's own right, five stars.

Wrote a review for this and other items purchased from this firm before, but it seems to have been deleted... The woods used have not been dried properly. It might be acceptable for a spoon, but more expensive items should be treated with a wary eye.

a very attractive wood grained pot. We have never found a wood one before and it is lovely. Due to a late discovered crack, the original pot was promptly replaced without question which we appreciated as it had been a birthday present.

Looks absolutely gorgeous, but too small. The cavity is far too small, it can hold only very little honey around the stick. I would have unreservedly given it 5 stars if it could have held more honey.

Very plain, could have been any wood

Looks really nice but does not do the job. A knot in the wood in the bottom of the jar has left honey leaking out all over the worktop! An expensive product that does not live up to expectations. Very disappointed.
