Protect your little's eyes in the sun
We bought the first pair 11 years ago for our grandson. He never went out near the lake unless he was wearing these and his hat. He adjusted very quickly and always wore them. They adjusted to fit his head for several years. I still have them for the memories now and they are still in great shape. The materials are like they were when he was using them. We bought t two more pair for grandchildren of friends who spend lots of time out on the lake. I would recommend you start them out while they are small so they will get used to wearing them and protecting their young eyes. Then they will wear them with no question. We always wear sunglasses to protect our eyes so shouldn't our children and grandchildren should, too? Thank you.

looks weird, works great!
I love the idea of these glasses, and when my daughter is wearing them, I am very glad that her eyes are protected. I believe in the usefulness and purpose of these glasses and will continue to use them often because I agree that it is important to protect her eyes from the sun.I also laugh a little on the inside when she is wearing them, as the wraparound style of the glasses looks a little funny, reminding me of the awkwardness of a kid in their night brace or a pet wearing a cone.I would suggest to the designers of this product that they look into putting some kind of non-slip material right at the back on the inside of the straps to help keep them from sliding down on soft or straight hair - kind of like the stuff they put on non-slip barrettes and ponytail holders. They constantly slide down the back of my daughter's head and need to be readjusted often.

Cute & Functional But They Don't Withstand Kids
Frubi shades are super-cute, functional, affordabe and they fit a wide array of ages (our 2 year old and 5 year old wear them). The foam is flexible and comfortable for the kids, but it just cannot handle being pulled on by kids. Our 2 year old broke a pair within an hour of them arriving. We were able to super-glue them, but they broke in another spot the next time he tugged on them. And our 5 year old broke hers while taking them off the second time she wore them. The foam just isn't that durable! It's a good thing they are cheap! We'll be sticking with our virtually indestructible Julbo sunglasses. While they are more expensive, they can take whatever our 2 year old can throw at them! He's been wearing the same pair daily for over a year!
