Cannot charge due to connector not mating properly
I have no idea if this battery is any good because the connector will not mate properly with the LG G-Pad 8 (V530). If ZERO stars was an option that's what I would prefer to give it, because it wasted considerable time.

The cavity at the bottom of the battery must be filled
It only took a few weeks for the phone to come back to me with the same problem. They dropped it and the little peel and stick strips didn't hold the battery from shifting down. They tore. Then the battery cable tore because of that. This time I stuffed a piece of heat shrink in the cavity beneath the battery so it doesn't have anywhere to go when the phone gets dropped.

The battery fits fine and seems to work fine. I was hoping it might last a bit longer than the original battery but it seems about the same.Recommended.

SCAM: Labeled incorrectly
This battery is noticeably thinner than the OEM battery. It is a smaller capacity and a scamp.The front of the battery (main label) states the following:Typ 5000mAh / 19.4WhRated: 4860mAh / 18.8WhHowever the cell itself is inkmarked on the opposite side as 15.52Wh (Not 18.8-19.4Wh) including the barcode. The battery is noticeably thinner (0.168") vs. the OEM (0.207") thick as well supporting the claim this is a SCAM. Would not recommend buying from this vendor.

Do not buy this battery
Just over a month after purchasing this battery failed on me now that the return window has closed I opened the battery and the packaging was just a sticker covering a battery from another installation apparently absolute garbage
