I wasn’t sure about these water bowls, but they work very well. We have a slobber king, a Weimaraner. He likes to play in his water bowl. Then, he fills his meat mouth with water and actually only drinks half off it. The rest ends up on the floor. This bowl prevents both issues. He can’t get into it because the floater in the bowl does not allow it. The amount of water he takes in at one time is also controlled.Both of our dogs learned to use these bowls very quickly. We have a stainless one and the clear plastic one. The clear plastic one seems to stay cleaner, though.No spills since we got these bowls, either. A wonderful piece of kit!

I love how my dog now uses this bowl. Just keep you dogs chin hair short, to avoid dripping water on your floor, however the system is great and I love how easy it is to keep tabs on amount, cleaning and it comes with filter.

Love this. Less mess of water everywhere. Just have to make sure to have filers on hand. They need to be changed weekly.

I got the big one and they love it! They like drinking out of plastic better than metal so that's what I got. No more wet messes on my floor!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this water bowl mainly for our 7 month old 55lb Golden Retriever, Chow, Great Pyrenees mix. He's huge and he's the sloppiest drinker I've ever seen. He usually lays down to drink (he drinks a lot) and sticks his entire snout into a normal water bowl under the water to drink and his face would be sopping wet and then would leave an enormous river of water where ever he went.I have another dog, she's a normal drinker & has never left a mess, she's just a loud drinker.I'm also dog sitting for one of my kids. His oldest dog is a big guy & a sloppy drinker. I thought what a great week to try this bowl out!My grandpup has done magnificent with this bowl. No mess whatsoever! So I would say under 'normal' circumstances is more than a 5 star.The baby Huey puppy has figured out -since he lays down to drink- that the baffle can be pushed down to let in more water as he drinks, so if he's very thirsty, he pushes it down whether laying or standing. I will say the mess has decreased a good bit, but he still leaves a small trail. If he is standing up to drink, he doesn't push the baffle down as much and of course it's much less mess!I love the fact it holds so much water and I can see how much is left in the bowl.

My dogs get water everywhere when they drink! This has been perfect to help keep their full face in the water. I have noticed less water all over the floor after using this. It's pretty thick plastic. Looks good, easy to see the water level.

Works as described and the dogs took right to it so they can have clean water without making such a mess!
