Fantastic screen protector practically installed itself and magically hardly attracts fingerprints. Love it!
I've always been a fan of PET plastic film protectors because they allow you to apply them to the phone and then lift them up as many times as needed to remove dust underneath. They can then easily be reapplied to the screen of your device. The problem with PET plastic protectors is that they always end up looking scratched up and dirty after a short while, they just seem to attract fingerprints and finger oils. So I was eager to make the jump to a glass protector but hesitated because I had always heard that the installation was a one shot deal. If you got something stuck under the glass, you had to live with it.Well for my iPhone 6 Plus I decided to overcome these reservations and upgrade finally to a tempered glass protector. There were so many to choose from on Amazon my head was spinning. Fortunately my friend ordered the Tech Armor Ballistic glass screen protector for his iPhone 6 just a few days prior to my search for a glass screen protector. He received a unit with a precise ear speaker cutout and a horseshoe shaped home button cutout. Most of the other protectors on Amazon showed a large rectangular cutout by the ear speaker and I did NOT want that. Inspired by his purchase I ordered the same Tech Armor Ballistic glass screen protector for my iPhone 6 Plus.It arrived super fast as does everything I order from Amazon. It came in a nice padded envelope and was in perfect shape when I opened it up. The first thing I did was to lay the protector down on top of my iPhone 6 Plus screen to see how everything lined up. The ear speaker cutout was very precise and the cutout around the home button lined up perfectly as well. I used the hinge method to install the protector and this turned out to be an excellent choice. If you are not familiar with it basically you place the protector exactly on top of your screen until you have it perfectly positioned. Then you use a few pieces of tape on one side of the phone to attach the protector to the phone so that you can then flip it over to the side like the page of a book. When you are ready for final installation the protector can then be flipped back onto the screen and it should still be perfectly aligned. If you aren't sure exactly what I mean Google "hinge technique screen protector" and you will get more than you would ever care to read about the subject. Suffice it to say that it works. I steamed up my bathroom a bit with the shower to remove any dust particles floating in the air and proceeded with the install. I took off my old plastic protector and my screen was very clean underneath. Still I used the cleaning wipe provided by Tech Armor with the screen protector to go over my screen one time to ensure that it was clean. Once I was satisfied that no dust or other particles were on the screen I removed the protective backing on the rear of the screen protector. I quickly flipped the protector down on to the screen and it literally installed itself. You could literally see the glass as it was adhering to the screen of my phone. I then removed the 3 pieces of tape i was using for the hinge technique and took a look at the screen to see how I did, very well indeed. I found one small piece of dust and debated whether or not I should try to remove it. I decided to go for it. I used my fingernail to pry up the corner closest to the dust, then I used one of the dust removal stickers provided by Tech Armor in the package to grab the piece of dust. Then I let the protector fall back down on to the screen of the phone. Once again it literally installed itself and the dust was gone! That was a huge surprise as I always thought it would be impossible to lift a glass protector, remove dust, and place it back down. I don't think Tech Armor recommends this but it worked for me and I was quite surprised and pleased about that. The protector itself is super clear, I mean literally like nothing is on the screen at all. In the past 24 hours I have been using it I have found that it virtually leaves no fingerprints, I don't even understand how that's possible but it must have some sort of oleophobic coating that seems to really work. Compared to the plastic protectors I was so used to it was a revelation. The feel of the surface is also quite different than a plastic protector and in a very good way. It's hard to put in words but it's just a much higher quality, satisfying experience to use. Overall the protector is outstanding and I am very pleased with it. If I had to voice one criticism it would be about the width of the protector. It just barely covers all of the width of the viewable screen area. I understand the issue with both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus screens having curved edges and requiring this, however if it were just a millimeter wider overall it would go a hair beyond the viewable area which I would have preferred. This is really more an issue with the iPhone curved screen edges than it is with the Tech Armor protector because all protectors seem to have to make this compromise. In conclusion this is a 10/10 product if you understand the compromises that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus introduce. I highly recommend it and will be using Tech Armor products in the future.

Real protection (but read directions thoroughly)
My review is on the "HD Clear Ballistic Glass Screen Protector".Having installed many screen protectors of various types on iPads and iPhones since my 3GS I was pleasantly surprised that the application of this product was as easy as it was.I would only choose these screen protectors now due to:- Quality: They are excellent quality in materials and finish. Tech Armor do stand by their product and if it doesn't live up to their high standards, they will replace... even when not their fault!!!- Ease of application: Yes, it's different to the plastic type, but follow the directions and it IS easier ... based on many experiences with both types.- Protection: Really does protect to a standard beyond the plastic type. First hand experience, read below.- Transparency: This screen protector doesn't degrade the screen quality at all. Side by side with typical plastic protectors, this is clearly superior.Application - Read carefully~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The biggest thing to be aware of (and the directions are excellent) is that this is a solid rigid piece of glass which is placed across the entire screen surface in one action. The plastic style are more typically 'rolled progressively on' from one end, to ensure bubbles etc are removed. To ensure you get it right: Read the directions carefully and look at the demonstration videos. Based on the application of 4 TechArmour Ballistic screen protectors (2 x iPhone 5S, iPhone 6+ & iPad Air), these have been consistently easier to apply then their flexible counterparts.Incredible REAL protection~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~From first hand experience, these provide INCREDIBLE protection. I dropped my iPhone 5 a few years ago while changing the SIM on a trip and the screen was cracked so badly that phone was unusable. At that time I was using a regular plastic screen protector. With my 5S I also dropped it on one occasion in a manner similar to the first and similarly large cracks appeared across the screen BUT I later discovered these cracks were only through the Tech Armor screen protector and there was NO DAMAGE to my phone's screen. I was honestly very surprised when I removed the cracked screen protector and it came off in one piece (not all layers had been damaged) and my phone's screen had absolutely no damage. As important though was that the phone remained fully usable despite the cracks!Incidental scratches are a thing of the past. I try not to put my phone in my pocket with my keys, but inevitably it happens at times and it's never resulted in a mark. Comparatively, friends with plastic type protectors have obvious blemishes and marks present.Transparency~~~~~~~~~~It was often a frustration for me in the past that I'd buy a wonderful device like my iPhones only to have their screen quality diminished consequent to screen protectors. Finally, with these, this is nolonger an issue. I cannot see any visual reduction in image quality when this is installed on my 6+, in all aspects such as sharpness, colours, blemishes, etc.Finger marks also seem to collect on this less then some of the plastic variety and with a soft cloth (I use the microfiber ones that come with glasses) it's easily cleaned. Not to the edge concern~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I don't believe this is as significant as some think. I have a regular shell type case which effectively protects the edges. There's a slight gap between the case and the glass which doesn't detract at all and has even received positive comment. The Ballistic glass is thicker than most plastic protectors, but is still lower than the height of the bumper type case. I believe what's critical is whether the edge is exposed and in my setup it's no issue. My only slight criticism here is that a small number of scrolling activities that are right on the edge of the screen seem a touch (excuse the pun) harder as your on the edge of the protector, but not to a degree that renders it unusable.Summary:~~~~~~~Read the installation directions carefully and look at the demonstration videos. These will help you understand the correct technique and give you the confidence to do it right. Based on the use of 4 Tech Armor Ballistic screen protectors (my last 4 related requirements which were all bought through Amazon), these protectors have been consistently easier to apply. Most importantly, since using them I've not suffered any screen damage. If I bought a new device today I would buy this product again without any doubt.UPDATE 23rd May 2015A few weeks ago, something smashed into the pocket in which was my 6+ and my keys. I believe the impact of the keys on the screen caused the protector to break. With considerable nervousness I removed the screen protector to see how bad the damage to the device was. There was ZERO damage. What's more, I contacted Tech Armor who promptly supplied a replacement. Installation of this protector was as easy as the previous 5 I'd done (2 x iPad, 5, 5S, 6+) AND as on each previous occasion the installation was successful.GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT AUTHENTIC WARRANTY. Wouldn't consider another brand at this point for this type of product.

Really clear, super sensitive, fairly easy to apply!
Note that these are my first impressions for the product. I applied it on a iPhone 6 Plus.I appreciated the package of the screen protector. Both Amazon and Tech Armor packaged the product well to prevent damages. The thing that surprised me: As they indicated in the description, my screen protector's top was aligned with the design of the iPhone's front phone speaker and camera instead of U-Shape. I thought it would take more time for them to update their product line. The guides are really helpful, they even prepared short introductory clips on their websites, so I didn't need to search on the google to how to apply the product. The videos were very helpful. The alcohol-free wipe was very helpful cleaning the dust. To prevent dusts, I started boiling water like half an hour before. I think it worked. There was nearly no dust on the screen when I was applying the product. The applying process is a little bit hard if you don't apply screen protectors so often. For me, I haven't applied screen protectors for more than one year I guess. The thing is not about dust or the deficiency of the product. It's the alignment process. It's actually very hard to align both top phone speaker hole and home button at the same time since you start from the top first. Yes, it's a personal thing, but it affects the result. If only they gave a second protector, I would give five stars. Because, after applied the product, I wanted to peel it off and align the home button again. (It's maybe a millimetre to the right). But it didn't bother me much, overall it looks and performs great. No problems regarding touch ID, curves, pressing "Q" in the keyboard (I heard some issues in Spigen's) etc.Overall, this is a great product that worths the money. Price/Performance rating is very high so far. The clarity and touch sensitivity is very good, above my expectations, like using iPhone's own screen. I didn't use it with a stylus yet but I will update this review when I try. The thickness of the protector is also ok, it wouldn't bother you much. There are no bubbles. With a proper case you will easily get used to it. I personally, ordered it NGP of Incipio, which fitted perfectly. I shot some pictures and if it is possible I'll add here. It's very hard to appreciate customers for such a product that is also very much related to the person's DIY abilities. I also used Spigen's products for iPhone 4, I have been using Spigen's PET protectors on iPad mini; these are also great but you will fell the difference of glass when you try this Tech Armor (I didn't try Spigen's Glass so I can't compare with it). Overall, I definitely recommend this product and would like to have it again to re-align the home button:)I only want to compare it with iLoome's curved protector. For now, I sacrificed curves to get good and clear protection; however, if I can get it in the future, I would update here ;)Pro- Nice package and inside content- Nice, clear cut and quality protector design- Excellent clarity and sensitivity- Seems robust (I didn't test the strength though)- Good documentation in generalCons- The glass could be a bit thinner- Includes only one protector- Instructions could be a bit more explained and updated according to the product changes** I realised that I applied the product according to the videos on the their website and I also combined the information on these videos with the instructions that come with the product. It confused me a bit. Actually, I advise you to follow instructions that come with the product (They separately put another warning page). My advice on applying: Put the iPhone in vertical position according to you (in the video it was placed horizontally) and then apply it starting from the top while handle the protector from its sides. Before leaving (applying) the protector on the screen, try to see whether it's aligned with the home button. (I did it reverse, I aligned the top very well but when I left the product on the screen the bottom came up as not aligned very well, so I couldn't undo (I actually tried a bit, but don't advise. Leave it as it is.) In my opinion, aligning home button is more important.;)As a result, nothing is perfect, a bit deficiency is always good :)

Installation was a breeze!!!
I ordered mine about a month before the 6 Plus release. I was impressed that it came so fast. Because I was soooo worried that I might mess up the installation of my Tech Armor screen, I bought a separate hard case with a built-in screen so I had a back up. Almost a year later, I still had my phone in the hard case with the built-in screen. But it bugged me so much that dust kept getting under the built-in screen that I finally worked up the courage to install my Tech Armor screen. I was so surprised that the Tech Armor installation went so smoothly!!! I WISHED I HADN'T WAITED A YEAR TO INSTALL IT!!! To avoid dust getting under the screen during installation, I ran my shower for about 10 minutes first. I made sure I dusted my bath vanity well. I left the shower running while I did the installation on my bath vanity. The humidity helped make sure there was no dust flying around. I followed the printed and video installation instructions. I was surprised that the screen almost attached itself automatically to my phone screen. No air bubbles at all. I wasn't completely happy with my alignment so I immediately lifted the screen again taking care not to touch the sticky side nor the face of the phone. I repositioned the screen and once again it attached itself quickly and smoothly to the phone. I used the squeege wrapped in the microfibre cloth to smooth the screen outward from the centre. I had no air bubbles whatsoever. I'm so happy with the way the screen looks! The touch screen responsiveness is still good. It is so easy to keep the Tech Armor screen clean and spotless. I ended up peeling off the built in screen from my hard case and put the case back on the phone. Together, my hard case and my Tech Armor screen keep my phone well-protected from dust, scratches, and drops. I definitely recommend this product! I do agree with other posts that the Tech Armor glass only covers the flat part of the iPhone 6 Plus but I don't know if there is technology available yet to make a curved glass screen to go on top of the iPhone's curved edges like a glove. I wouldn't use just this glass screen to protect my phone. I think a hard case is till a must in combination with the Tech Armor screen.

So far really pleased. Package came with clear guides
I have just installed this on a iPhone 6 Plus, Gold model, so white front face bezels. So far really pleased. Package came with clear guides, wipe, cleaning cloth, nice squeezy pad and single peel off cellophane unlike others with two parts. It does fall short of covering the entire front face and would say only covers the screen display area in width (black area) leaving the white edges exposed but that is clearly illustrated. Personally, I'm OK with this as I am using a Apple leather case and the wrap around from the case to the side comes over a mm or so and doesn't interfere with smooth swiping motion side to side. The home button and speaker piece cut out match accurately to the phone dimensions. One thing I would add is by leaving the protector short around the sides and not fully going to the top edges and circulating the home button you will avoid air bubbles as these are usually areas i find accumulate the bubbles or capture speckles. Comparing this with the Spigen 5S tempered glass protector I am using on my other phone, it doesn't have the oleophobic coating and the clarity I would say is better from the Spigen slightly. In saying that, I am aware not all displays are equal in their luminosity and the comparisons are not directly equal as the iphone 6 plus i am aware has a different screen display technology. In summary, this is the first protector I am using so happy they were able to deliver by prime as Spigen is taking a month to come. Would recommend.

You can't use plastic screen protectors again!
The Ballistic Glass screen protector was my first choice for my new iPhone 6 Plus. I installed one on my iPad Mini last year and have been so happy with it, that I didn’t even think of another brand or a plastic film one.It is extremely easy to fit. I had the protector on in a fraction of the time it has taken me to install films on previous phones I’ve owned. The glass is so clear and smooth, that it is exactly like seeing and touching the naked screen. It feels strong and durable and I doubt it will mar easily, like a film will. When I got my iPhone 5, which I also treated very carefully when it was still new, the equally expensive competing company’s plastic film scratched almost immediately, just from being in my pocket. The Ballistic Glass has been on my iPhone 6 Plus for almost a week now and there are no marks. My iPad is still blemish free, over a year after applying its Ballistic Glass, so I’m very confident the iPhone’s screen will be as well protected.I have only two minor criticisms that prevent me from rating it five stars. The first would be to include a screen sized dust sticky, so that after cleaning the screen, rather than dabbing at dust, which can still land as you’re applying the glass, you peel off the sticky as you’re aligning the glass in one gradual peel with one hand, align with the other. The second, which may be because of the curved glass of the iPhone 6, is that the glass protector looks a little small. I feel that it could have been extended a millimetre or two both horizontally and vertically, especially horizontally, as the edges are barely wider than the screen and look like they could have extended further onto the bezel.

Very impressed!
I was skeptical of the claims at first, having had some poor experiences with screen protectors in the past. This one was nothing short of amazing. Installation (the scary part!) was unbelievably simple.First try, I placed the protector on my 6+ and made a minor adjustment, and the thing just started to adhere onto the screen from the top down on its own. Not a mote of dust or air bubble, at all. I have literally never had a "perfect" install before (slightly off center, tiny bubble, tiny speck of dust) but now I have. That alone was worth every penny.Installation aside, it looks great on my black bezel (space grey 6+), while you can see the edge of the protector before the curve of the phone's glass, it looks very natural. The edge of the protector is far enough in that it doesn't affect the two cases I have for the phone (folio style and bumper style). Even if a case was on/near the edge, I don't think it would be an issue. The edge of the protector is very thin and rounded smooth, so it would be resistant to hanging up on anything. The surface of the protector feels identical to that of the phone itself. No extra friction like from some film protectors. If it isn't exactly as responsive as the phone's screen itself, I can't tell.Fingerprints do show up on it, (though they do for me on the bare screen too) but they're very easy to wipe off, leaving that perfect glass surface you can't get with a cheap protector.I can't comment on the durability of the product yet as I've only had it for a week or so, but with the warranty and the reputation I've read, I'm not concerned in the least.Great product, great price!
