Fresh and good quality
This is great to add to my mixture of no grow bird seed, raisins, suet pellets and meal worms. Best fed birds in the village. No mess and no left overs. I prefer chopped up peanuts to whole peanuts, more birds each get a piece of peanut. While peanuts are gobbled up by greedy birds.

Excellent value
Excellent value and excellent shelf life. I buy these regularly, the tits really love it. They don't seem to like the whole nuts in wire mesh feeders. So I ended up buying this stuff and they are very happy with it. This is the best value one I have found. Would recomend.

Four Stars
Like these there a nice size for the birds, so this is an item l reorder. Update, l buy this product regular but the last purchase was not to the same standard as before so reducing the stars to 4, l will buy one more of this product and if it is the same lower standard is the same l'll have to look elsewhere which would be a shame as the birds used to really enjoy them, with this batch they don't go as quick

Happy birds!
The birds seem pleased, anyway. Knowing that it's wrong to offer 'open access' whole peanuts, as parent birds may drop them whole into a baby bird's gape and choke it, I've used different mesh feeders filled with whole peanuts, without success. 'My' birds, for whatever reason, just weren't interested; the nuts, uneaten, ended up rotting in the feeders. These chopped nuts, I've put out with the dried mealworms and suet pellets I habitually use on the bird table, and the birds went for them straight away.Well done, Erdtmann.

Perfect for hedgehogs
My hedgehogs love them. PLEASE never give whole peanuts to hedgehogs as they can get stuck in the rooves of their mouths. Hedghogs can't get their paws in their mouths to remove foreign objects, so a stuck whole peanut goes bad, poisoning the hog in the process. Always give finely chopped peanuts. This product is perfect.

the birds love it
the birds in my garden go mad for these, I have sparrows, blue tits, goldfinches, robins ,and lots more and they all love this. I have it both on a hanging bird table and a long hanging feeder and am always refilling!

The Birds Don't Like It
Frankly, the birds just don't like this stuff.I did an experiment. I put up two identical feeders, a metre apart from one another, both hanging from a tree about 2 metres above ground. One feeder was filled with this product, chopped peanuts, and another with sunflower hearts. The birds (goldfinches, chaffinches, greenfinches, bullfinches, blue tits, coal tits, great tits) all ignored the chopped peanuts and went for the sunflower hearts. After a week, I emptied the feeders, cleaned and refilled them but swapped their positions. Some birds were confused at first, but within a few hours they were feeding, once again, only from the feeder with the sunflower hearts. Conclusion: forget these chopped peanuts, go for sunflower hearts. An update (January 2017). I mixed this product with mealworms which I put on the ground, mainly to attract ground feeders like robins, blackbirds, dunnocks, chaffinches. Even the odd blue tit made a visit. The birds ate the mealworms and left the chopped peanuts behind! In winter? When the birds are close to starving? There's something seriously wrong with these chopped peanuts, or did I just get a bad batch?

Cacahuetes partidos de buena calidad
Están partidos y los pájaros silvestres se los comen mejor, con muy pocas cáscaras.
