ASICSMen's Gel-Rocket 11 Volleyball Shoes

I've been a squash player for over 50 years and have been through the shoe wars all along the way. Brands come and go; and some change styles. Soon after then the Asics Gel Rockets came out, I bought a pair and liked their comfort, fit, weight, traction and durability. (I've gotten one to two years per pair of Gel Rockets.) Being used to companies changing their shoes, I quickly bought another pair. Eventually, they showed some wear and I converted them to non-squash casual wear.Meanwhile, I needed a pair of all-black walking/running shoes I could take on travel and wear for mor dressy occasions. Again, I bought Asics, same size. The same size as my squash shoes fit perfectly and are still in use after about three years.When it came time to buy new squash shoes, I again turned to Asics. After years of wearing white, I went for more color and bought these peacoat blue/orange babies. They arrived in two days in an original carton and perfect condition. Noting the Amazon 7-day tryout period, I quickly took them onto the court, and found the feel and the traction are just the same as my prior pair. And they look great - the colors on the Amazon page are true.I mention all this because I was concerned about the soles. I have mostly bought squash shoes with the yellow-orange gum soles. They don't mark the court floor and the traction has been consistently outstanding. When I've bought other brands with white or gray soles, I was dissatisfied with the traction or the durability. This new pair has blue soles, so before buying them, I checked with two pros and two other players who have Asics shoes with colored soles. They told me not to worry, and they were right. (They also said that the Asics UpCourt volleyball shoes are not as good for squash.)So, I recommend them, and am now ordering another pair before these colors disappear.

These are some comfy sneaks. Good price. Good shoe. Definitely want more.

I use these to play badminton indoors. Works great, good grip. I feel planted when I lunge. I only used these for a month, so we'll see about the durability later. I think these are good if not wanting to put in the money for something like Yonnex brand.

Sharp looking shoe, great fit and support. Just not as comfortable padding in the shoe compared to the ASICS running shoe. Not sure why….perhaps one is for running and these are designed for volley ball court play. FYI…

My feet length are 27.5 cm but I thought 9 US will fit well (which is 27.0 cm) and I was right. I haven't used yet and have no comment about performance. I will add it later. It looks very nice and feelings are very good.

Super indoor court shoe and one of only a few offering wide sizes. Lightweight but sturdy, cool colors too.

Very nice shoes & great quality and they fit awesome! I got 11 wide, for my wide foot. They fit great.
