Great value, quite and cools the room fast.
The media could not be loaded. The Coolblus Portable Air Conditioner is a fantastic addition to my home. With its powerful 8000 BTUs, it cools my bedroom (about 250 square feet) quickly and efficiently, making a noticeable difference even on the hottest days. Installation was a breeze; I had it set up in under 30 minutes without any special tools. The compact size and sleek design mean it fits seamlessly into my decor, and the built-in wheels make it super easy to move from room to room. One of the best features is how quietly it runs—I can watch TV or chat with friends without any annoying background noise. It’s perfect for small spaces and really delivers on performance and convenience. My only wish is that it came in multiple colors to better match different room aesthetics.Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase.

Love it
Got this at a great price, so I was skeptical. It works great. It can sense the room temperature correctly and maintain it efficiently. My window slides horizontally and the included adapter doesn’t expand tall enough so I also bought a foil insulation material and sealing tape to make it airtight. However, the hose connecting the exhaust kit to the unit is very long which is nice, which is optional since it will condense. The instructions/manual has very minimal information and the seller did not respond to my questions via Amazon or their website. I’m using this unit to cool a huge bedroom + bathroom, both with vaulted ceilings. Many windows, a skylight, and west facing. Does the job. Mobility is very simple and noise is low to moderate.Tip: Drainage is important. It comes with a hose and connectors for this. Use a large laundry detergent bottle, the kind with a built-in spigot, and put the end of the hose in the screw-top opening of that bottle. It has a larger capacity so you won’t have to empty it very often. It’s also closed enough to present zero issues with my cats. The tiny bit of detergent left in the bottle will keep that water from getting gross between emptying. Bungee cord the bottle to a flat piece of wood or other firm material if you’re concerned about it tipping over.

I love it!
so unpackaging it was a pain in the butt because I was down a hand (injury). and I didn't realize until I was tearing into the box that I could've just lifted up on the box and then picked it up to take the styrofoam off the bottom. A little card of how to take it out of the packaging would be nice but...Setting it up was very easy I mean very very easy! The only thing that was difficult is the dang tube! what I found that worked is I only stretched the very end of it and kept the rest of it compressed and then held it with my legs and screwed it on it kept going on crooked so I resorted to desperate measures lol. once the tube is on though it's pretty sturdy. When you first turn it on it's pretty powerful! I mean the whole machine makes a jolt. and it will cool down a room that is around 83° weather down to 65° in 25 mins.you're able to angle the direction of flow too up down left and right.it claims to be very energy efficient per the yellow sticker, it says it only adds $77 annually. The rating on the website is a bit confusing because one thing says it has one star and then the other one says that the rating is 6.5.I had to resort to a small trashcan next to it to collect the condensation, I started with a water bottle but that filled up insanely quick! There's two options to let it fill up or two have it continuously drain into a bucket or container.I opted to put some type of container by it because the location where I have it is a little bit cramped.I don't really use the nighttime mode where it claims to be quieter, I can sleep through a tornado lol it does have a loud fan like noise and when it's working really hard you hear the compressor shutting on and off and it makes a loud jolt.I got the 8500 one for 300 ft.²my bedroom is around 120 Square (feet i think) paid around 202 usd. With memorial day holiday it got delayed two days but Amazon kept me updated where it was.Another complaint is the window panel piece, I first couldn't even figure it out how to attach it to the hose then I just gave up after I realized it wouldn't even fit in my window. so I resorted to cardboard and just folded it to make it have a seal. No issues with that but if it's raining heavy then I have to take it out. I wish that different sizes were sold instead of just being told well you can cut it in the directions. another thing if you really do not know what you're doing the directions are no help at all!Oh and one thing is I ran it without the tube just to see what would happen and it made my room insanely hot! The tube is definitely needed! And honestly I wish they put it on all dehumidifiers because the one that is in the living room does not have a tube and it makes the house hotter as it removes the moisture. There's three settings fan, Dehumidifier, and AC.

Works Okay
Arrived well packaged and without damage. The instructions were not as helpful as some other assembly directions I’ve used on other products. Our window required horizontal installation, so the part that fits into the window had to be cut to fit. We used some insulation strips to make sure that when closed the window was snug against assembly. There is no cover for the end of the vent, so basically the entire exhaust tube is open to the outside. The tube is very stiff and we’ve had trouble getting it to seat into the vent without air leak. We drilled a small hole in the window assembly to accommodate the drainage hose. The instructions say that the continuous drainage works during cooling and the dehumidifier use. We found this to be incorrect when it comes to the “drying” function. The bottom pan fills up within an hour and has to be manually emptied. The unit is cooling okay, and makes it more comfortable in our bedroom at night. It looks okay in our room and takes up less space than you would imagine. So far I am pleased with this unit overall. As to the value for the money…it’s working to support our central air, but I probably would not count on this for the only way to cool our room.
