Worked well much stickier than the hardware store stuff

I've used this product for about 35 years. I was a custom builder / remodeler for years and now do the Ask the Builder dot com website. The bad reviews you read here are posted by individuals who most likely didn't read the instructions and / or have no idea how to work with the material. It's indeed very sticky because Grace probably puts some SBS co-polymer in with the asphalt.You WANT it to be super sticky so it sticks to the wood sheathing and it sticks to itself. It's best to NOT work with this material in direct sun with the temperature above 60 F. You discover quickly to put this material on in the shade or early morning before the sun is very high in the sky. When you do that, it glides on as smooth as silk. The material has a special membrane on top that helps seal around the nail shafts.All the other products like this out there, in my opinion, are impostors. I did NOT get paid one penny to write this review. I've installed this on my jobs for years and just covered my entire house with it the summer of 2015. I'd never use anything but this product so long as Grace NEVER does anything to make it less than what it is now. Look at the photo of me using it on my home here in NH in the summer of 2015.

I bought this ice shield because it say on the box big red wording that its covers 225 sf and on the inside pictures is blurry can't see it so the say its say there more info but I couldn't see anything so please make it more clearly..

large sections are impossible to install by yourself.

Can be applied properly only if temperature is above 80 F ... it sticks super great...will use it again.....Tip: use a hot hair dryer if applied early in the cold morning!!!

great stuff.....used it before and couldn't find it any more in big box stores.....not smart on their part.....one always sees it being used on DIY and HGTV......they use it for good reason.....it's almost a rubber membrane, is flexible and sticks like crazy....regular sticky back felt is a no contest against this stuff....of course it would be nice if it were cheaper.....btw.....delivered in timely fashion and in good shape....

Product arrived on time . I messed up the first piece, but quickly learned . Works good

I was using this to waterproof the ledger board for a screened in porch I'm building. This stuff is very sticky. Which is good and bad. I put this up myself, so I got it stuck to itself a couple of times. An extra set of hands would have helped.
