Great, small, good power and super quiet. Just hoping it lasts.

Great little air pump, Currently have it running in a 5 Gallon tank with a sponge filter which is right near the TV and cannot hear it at all while watching tv, There is a very slight hum which you can hardly hear in a silent room even, (Im guessing some of the comments about noise are maybe using a sponge filter and meaning the bubbles rather than the pump itself, If you are using a sponge filter and find the bubble noise to loud you can modify the sponge filter to fit the air stone inside it to reduce the bubble size hence making it quieter, plenty of videos on youtube on how to do it) Suction on it is great and it comes with a handy clip for clipping to the side of your tank, Overall cant fault it at all.

The product itself is great little air stone kit and very easy to install but unfortunately mine was faulty inside. I contacted the customer service and they provided a rapid response and resolution for me. I will definitely purchase again through this seller.

I am writing this on the day that I plugged this little guy in so can't speak of the longevity of the product, but my daughter has a fish tank in her room, close to her bed. The pump that I bought from maidenhead aquatics was the smallest pump they had (super fish airflow 1) and it was so loud, it even vibrated across the table which made further noise and whenever we forgot to pull it from the plug before my daughter fell asleep I'd feel so bad that she had to fall asleep next to so much noise. I finally bought this one after seeing a review on how quiet it is and that fact it attached to the outside of the tank. All you can really hear is the bubbles from the air stone and a very slight hum from the pump. the noise itself is soothing and it isn't noisy and the fact it attaches to the side, it makes the set up look so much more tidier! I didn't use the air stone or return valve that came with this, I just used the one I already had in the tank for ease so might be better when I eventually do switch it round. The air stone that came with this set is slightly smaller than the one I had so may produce less bubbles/be more gentle. the pump itself is great for a little tank, the bubbles are more gentle than the super fish which I prefer, but may not necessarily be great for a large tank (I have a 22l). my super fish was quite aggressive for a few guppies in my opinion so I'm very happy (so far) with this pump.

I was really impressed at first, the pump is nice and small and fits away nicely for my small fish tank.It was silent, you never would of know it was there. However, the bubbles started to lessen after a few weeks and now after about a month it’s not doing anything.I have tried getting it going again but it’s just given up.I couldn’t of had it more than a month so I’m disappointed. Had it lasted the better part of a year for the price I would of been really happy but not if you have to buy a new one each month.

Unfortunately, this didn’t last more than a year. I have noticed the strength of the bubbling reducing and its now probably 85% of bubbliness compared to when first purchased. 2 small bubbles a second produced , compared to plenty of continuous bubbles when first purchased.Shame. As its just over the year warranty mark.Careful - if you are going to buy something that you expect to last longer than a year, be careful with this. Reasonable price though and great while it worked.Happy bubbling…
