Tire Service Equipment CH-5 Cheetah Bead Seater

Had one for 10 years in a used tire store where we do 40 tires a day, 6 days a week. After enough mistreatment to ruin literally anything on earth, I've finally decided to buy another one. The old one still works though. LOL.And these days there are knockoff ones just like this for a fraction of the price. I considered them honestly but nah.This thing's been thrown on the concrete 400 times. Hit with tire bars, hammers and steel wheels. It's just the best tank made.

The Cheetah worked well for inflating 18" Light Truck tires. Inflating the tires with the Cheetah did require two people (one to work the Cheetah and one to help "hold" the upper tire bead to the wheel). Perhaps the Cheetah should have some sort of rubber tip on the air discharge tube. When inflating the tire if the Cheetah air discharge tube slips off the edge of the wheel damage to the face of the wheel can occur.

Damn this thing is a great addition to my garage. Wear the earplugs it comes with. Kicks a little too so hold firmly so air goes where you want it. Teflon tape already on threads for you ready to assemble. Nice quality touch

If you change tires on a regular basis, you NEED this! I probably won't tell you anything that you don't already know, but this Cheetah is great. After a few years of using the little blower on my tire machine, I decided to buy this after seeing someone use it. What a great buy this was!It does take a little practice to figure out what pressures will seat type and size of tire, but I have never had a tire that I couldn't seat with this tank. I have used it on rims from 14 thru 20 inch car and light truck tires. Like I said, once you figure out the pressure you need, you cannot go without this tank.

This was a Christmas gift that I didn't expect to arrive in time. But it arrived in time and was much appreciated by the recipient.

To anyone considering one of these stop thinking about it and buy it you will not be disappointed. this tool is fantastic! I had a new set of 17 inch 10 ply tires that were so flat the beads were touching I fought with them for a day and a half . Ordered this tool had all 4 tires mounted in less than 15 minutes. we used this same tool at an auto dealership I worked for I was there for 6 years and never had a problem with it . I'm a Do-It-Yourselfer who's been mounting my own tires at home for almost twenty years. And while I own my own tire mounting equipment, I've never owned one of these gadgets before. This unit is a bit heavy to hold, and it bucks like a bronco when you pull that lever... But it also works like a charm. I'm glad I bought this one instead of the smaller model which I almost bought, because this one packs a really solid punch. It tamed an unbelievably stubborn set of off-road tires I bought for my 4X4, that I was ready to take to my local dealership, and pay a ransom for mounting.Instead I bought this thing, and I'm glad that I did. It may be gross overkill for the wife's minivan, but once you start working on 4X4's or bigger stuff, believe me... You'll be glad you have it.

There are bead seaters on here that are a lot cheaper, but, you are putting a lot of pressure to this tank. Its best to go with one that has a proven track record of quality construction. Easy to use and very well made. So spend the extra money and get this tool.

I was to cheap to buy and waited years. These are fantastic. We spent so much time over the years, trying to bead some tires and this thing works in one or two attempts.

It was virtually impossible to get a new tire seated on the rim of my Kubota BX-2230 before I got the Cheetah Bead air blaster. The large blast of air will instantly spread out the new stiff tire to fit the rim and enable inflation. Replacing a tire is much easier with it.

The item arrived with a defective pressure gauge...The bezel below the indicating needle was poorly installed and bent upward causing the needle to stop at ~75 lbs.
