I can only say it seems alright. I have had peppermint before and it was slightly different from this one, of slightly different strength. I can only say I suppose this one is what it is. I have no real complaint. There are so many different makers of these things and to know which is the best, one would have to have the whole brands in front of them to really give a more definitive opinion.. This is why I am giving it three stars instead of five
