I was thinking of building a set of gatefold leg supports for my railway baseboards, when I thought about using trestles.These came as a pair at a great price.As a pair of stands, they work a treat. Plus, when I was building another frame. I was able to clamp the wood to one of these and have the other supporting the free end. Sawing was a breeze.They fold flat for transport and storage, so don't take up any room when not in use.

I’ve dropped a star on the review because of the total lack of instructions coupled with the fact that it was not intuitive on how the item should be assembled. It turn out to have to flex the hinge mechanism by pulling the legs apart with some force to flex them past the stopsIt’s not immediately obvious especially to someone with no engineering knowledge and in fact even I almost returned them thinking there was a problem.But luckily I persevered and they are now ok.They are surprisingly wide and surprisingly heavy but carried separately they are ok.All In b all I’m pleased with them now I’ve figured out what to do

Bought 4 of these to aid making a decking frame as unable to constantly work at low level due to injury so glad I did easy to assemble and sturdy construction good build quality

On these saw horses i can not find any way of spreading the legs out to attach the middle bar with out undoing the bolts so that they go above the brackets the legs go inside of these saw horses are not very practical and will be time consuming for when you want to use them i will be returning themUpdateThese saw horses are not made of iron as stated they are made of tin and very unsteady can't be bothered to return themUpdateThrew these saw horses in the bin don't waste your money
