A Christmas Hit!
I bought this for my niece who is 4 and LOVES music making, we are a very musical family (I am a music teacher) and this was instantly loved by all of us. It is a really interesting toy, allowing players to experiment with instrumentation, tempo, and dynamics, with 15 piece of music that have different moods, there is a lyric book that can also be downloaded so you can sing along! The sound quality is fab, and it is very easy to use. It is super eye catching with beautiful lights and bright colours. I have experience with B toys before, it may seem expensive for a toy but it is so worth it! If it’s anything like the other musical toys I’ve had from them It will last a long time and be loved for a long time. And hopefully will be passed to my son when my niece has out grown it!

Beautiful, hours of entertainmemt!
The media could not be loaded. Such a beautiful sturdy toy! The instrument sounds are great with volume amd tempo control. Tbere is also ample storage inside the toy for all the instruments. my 7 yr old ASD son loves this already and is going to get hours of wonderful fun from this!

Absolutely delightful!!!
This is a really special toy! It doesn't appear to be the most eye catching toy, particularly as B have used clear plastic casing (which lead my other half to ask whether it was a prototype), but it is undoubtably the most enchanted toy I have come across. The toy springs to life with the most beautiful music which sounds incredibly like the real thing. There really are endless options as you introduce different instruments to pay different songs. My nearly two year old loved it as soon as he saw it and he will play with this for years to come. I haven't come across anything else like this before - it is such a beautiful and clever idea.

Brilliant, brilliant toy
I bought two of these at Christmas, one for each 20month grandson. For Grandson1 the product was a dead loss. His only interest was in spoiling his cousin's enjoyment of it.For grandson2, who goes to weekly baby dance and to baby music once a week, it was a delight. He has played for hours with the function which allows the user to alter the sound of the tune according to the instruments in the orchestra pit at one time. The model we have survived Christmas and post-Christmas assaults from its lovers and its detractors with no noticeable damage. Nobody loves the design and we have debated endlessly whether the clear plastic casing adds or detracts overall. There is a "secret" compartment that holds all of the pieces. All-in-all this works and for one grandson and hangers-on this could not have been bettered as a Christmas prent.

Perfect for a 3 year old obsessed by musical instruments!
We were struggling to think of a good present for our son for his 3rd birthday. I am not sure why but he is absolutely obsessed with musical instruments and anything that makes music...no interest in dinosaurs or cars! Anyway, this seemed expensive but so perfect for him i had to buy it. Firstly i saw it for sale as a japanese import called 'magic orchestra' and it was way over £100 so that was a no, but after searching some more i discovered this - the european equivalent. Its a delightful little toy that both parents and kids love to play with. It lights up and plays some really good songs. There are 13 instruments and it when you put them on the stage it will play up to 6 concurrently. Each instrument has its own part to play from the orchestral score. Its really simple for little ones to interact with and i think its got good educational value too. From a parental viewpoint it has the all important volume button and all the instruments store away inside the unit so it packs up quite neatly. It also looks much nicer than your standard kids plasticky toy! A good investment we think. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because although he loves it, he loves garageband on the ipad more, and its a bit pricey.

Dead symphony
This *was* a lovely toy. Purchased Dec 22 as a Christmas present but unfortunately the symphony died just over 2 years later. This toy was much loved and handled with care. Unfortunately 7 out of 13 instruments suddenly stopped working (yes, I replaced the batteries twice also with Duracell). I expect a toy at that price to last longer. Disappointed.

not easy, usually busted)
I bought this for three grandsons - seven, five and almost two - for Christmas purely because I'd read the rave reviews. When it arrived, sure enough, it didn't look impressive and I thought What have I done, because it wasn't cheap. (I have 12 grandchildren and try to keep to a budget, not easy, usually busted). HOWEVER, this Symphony in B music toy was a real winner. My daughter says it's the most successful toy they've ever had and that's great praise from her, she's not one to say anything is good if it's not excellent. Her sons love it and so do their friends - just as I'd read in the customer reviews. It doesn't just live up to how it appears on the box, it's so, so much better. It tests their ingenuity, it stops three lively boys in their tracks, they sit down and become a conductor/composer for a quarter of an hour - magic! Everyone loves it. Well done, whoever cooked up this toy. Drum roll for you!PS: I have never written a rave review about a toy before. This is a first for me.
