The citronella candles I've used in the past have been on sticks - the trouble with these is the slightest wind and you lost a lot of wax on the ground. These come in stone pots with a wide base so you won't lose a drop of wax.The scent is quite powerful - wrong time of year to determine effectiveness on mosquitos but they smell similar to previous candles used that were effective.They are perhaps on the pricey side for the quantity: 2x135g candles, but they are of good quality.

Comes boxed as a pair of 2 with dust covers and instructions, you can smell these before even opening the box.They're two large bowels with plenty of wax designed to last you a good fair part of the summer months and being 2 you can either extend them if your in a small area or have 2 on at once for a larger space.Will make some nice small/shallow/herb plant pots once they're used up also.

These Citronella candles smell great and are a green colour as opposed to the usual yellow, which make a nice change.The candles are in good sized terracotta pots, and would make a lovely gift to someone.They are not cheap at £19 for 2, but if they actually burn for the stated 60 hours then I guess that makes them worthwhile. They do smell great though - roll on summer so I can sit outside and burn these.

These candles are just the thing to keep annoying insects away when you are sitting out on the patio on summer evenings. There are 2 in the box and they come in attractive terracotta bowl-shaped holders, so they look beautiful as well as being useful. They are made with real citronella oil so they smell of lemongrass and the aroma is very pleasant. Apparently each candle lasts for over 24 hours in total, so they could be used over several evenings. Handy for camping, bar-b-cues, or just chilling outside with friends. At just under £13 for the pair they are very good value. Extremely happy with these.

I love using these in summer to help keep the insects away.The candle wax is displayed in terracotta pots which is nice and change from glass jars, the wax is also green and not the usual yellow which i like.These candles have a nice scent, the scent is strong but not overpowering. The candles have a long burn time of 30h each.You can use the candles in the garden but they can also be used by open windows to deter insects from entering your home.Unfortunately one of my terracotta pots broke during delivery. The candle is still usable so i will keep that one for use by my kitchen window and save the other one for evenings out on the patio.
