Great deterrent.
Does exactly as it claims. Birds won't go near it. Very strong too, this roll will last for ever in a domestic garden.

Birds ignore after a while
Initially good but when birds know its not a threat they ignore

Accustomed
Unfortunately birds get used to this, they even sit on it. When it’s not windy or the sun isn’t shining the hologram tape is static and ineffective.

Useless
Flimsy and easy rips. Didn't scare and pigeons or birds away, they actually sat on it, lol! I also thought it was sticky back but it wasn't. Wind blew some of it away so I didn't even had to take it down. Not good value for money.

The birds love it!
It’s gone until the birds get used to it. Now we see them sat next to it lol

No more pigeons
I'd just scattered some grass seed on it and the pigeons were have a very nice time tucking in, thank you very much. I knotted this tape onto short green canes leaving about 18 inches each side of the knot to flutter about in the wind, and pushed the canes into my lawn, dotted about. As well as fluttering in the wind, they make a rustling crackling noise, which I assume the pigeons don't like as well as the tape sparkling and shining in the sunlight as it moves, which I've heard can confuse them. It has worked a treat and I don't even need to take them out if I water my lawn.

Effective bird scarer
Effective in keeping birds away from our newly seeded lawn. We put bamboo canes into the ground and pegged the tape in a cris-cross pattern to the canes - about 18" off the ground. We found it works better to keep the tape fairly taught. Make sure the canes are as deep as possible and the pegs (ideally two pegs on each cane) are well secured around the tape, (otherwish the wind will cause the canes to move and the tape to work loose).
