The comfort level and support in this shoe is amazing. But like tires with great grip ratings, lifetime must be sacrificed. These shoes fell apart after 2 months of medium use. The fabric started unraveling and large holes appeared, rendering the shoes useless. Rocks get stuck in the drain holes in the bottom and can become extremely uncomfortable. They don't dry out quickly like they are supposed to, and tends to wick up sweat and smell horrible after a few uses. I slip on wet concrete all the time where rubber bottom shoes perform well, and the tread on the bottom is completely gone already. These shoes were cheap, and i got what i paid for.

These shoes have no wiggle room whatsoever. If you have toe nails of any length, cut them. Perhaps they will stretch more with use in water. I ordered a 12(M). I wear sizes between 11-1/2 to 12 depending on the shoe. It feels great on my feet. It provides support that regular swim shoes don't have. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the fit which is more on me than the shoe itself. If you have the opportunity, try these on at a store if you can find them.

I bought these shoes to surf big wave breaks over dangerously sharp reefs. It not only provided protection, but another bonus is little wax is needed to prevent slipping. And finally, it helps prevent bending/cramping toes backwards when standing on the drop. I would wrap each velcro strap with duct tape to prevent them from detaching. Sounds crazy, but it works!

These were my first pair of tow shoes and Filas. Make sure you go to the Fila website and print off the foot sizing pages. I purchased a mens pair because of the color option and the Fila sizes do not run the way you would think. That being said, the size fit true to my measurement and the graph translation of sizes between men and womens shoe size. I used these shoes for walking and swimming in the ocean. I found the shoes to be very comfortable. While in the shoes it kept feeling like the shoes were loose but when I checked the velcro the shows were still secured. I think it was just the water flowing inside the shoes. The drain holes in the sole and the mesh between the toes allowed the water to drain well. I am very happy with my purchase. I plan to continue to use these shoes while outdoors in creeks and during any water activity.

I've got very wide feet. These actually do stretch to fit, but leave marks, especially around my big toes. They're fairly comfortable, not as airy as I would like, and they can't compare in support to regular sports shoes. They do fit a comfortable space between going barefoot and wearing running shoes. They certainly feel a lot less bulky than my running shoes, but my feet sweat a lot more due to the decreased air flow.

Just received mine today and I'm glad I went up one size. I usually wear a nine U.S. But after reading the reviews at last moment went with a ten U.S.I have a pair of five finger shoes as well and sizing on all these seem the same. The bottom sole areas are thicker than the five finger shoes as well. So far so good for this product.

These are fantastic shoes. I love them and have been wearing Filas for a few years now- best show ever because of the 4 toe design- am pissed they stopped making these shoes. I buy them whenever I can!

I haven't had these long, but I put them on as soon as I got them and wore them around the house to do my chores, and they were very comfortable. There is more support in these than you might think, and it actually bothered me a little at first to go barefoot when I took them off.I actually got these to wear to a dog park that is all sand. I figured it would be easier to walk around in these in the sand, but give me protection from the pine needles and occasional sharp things like glass. I noticed after I took them off that the sole is not solid. I could not tell from the pictures in the ad, but all of the orange bits that look like openings, ARE openings. You can see right to the inner lining of the shoe, and through the circulation holes in the lining. This makes me a little wary of wearing these at the dog park because things can definitely get in there (besides sand), and I feel like I'd have to be pretty careful and watch where I step more than I already do.If I hadn't already worn them around the house and thrown out the box, I'd probably return them, but only because they won't work well for my specific purpose. They are still VERY comfortable, and would certainly be great for other uses.
