I’ve seen ads for these defrosting trays and ignored them for years, assuming that they were just some sort of gimmick. As I don’t like defrosting in a microwave if I can help it, and rarely figure out what to eat early enough to defrost on time, this board has been amazing. Speeds up natural defrost time, and allows me to be indecisive about my next snack or meal for that bit longer!! Easy to clean too, love it.

I didn't fine it quite as rapid as various ads have suggested BUT it does work!I'd say it cuts the defrosting time by at least half and small items ie a couple of lamb chops much faster than than. Worth a try.

Just put what you want to defrost on the pad a d it does the job

If you’ve forgotten to take snorting out of the freezer, this board is great for defrosting food extremely quickly. Just place the food on the board and it will defrost, typically within an hour, depending on the size and type of food.,

I bought this 5 months ago to replace an old small metal defrosting board which worked perfectly well but was too small for some items.I liked the fact that it also has multi-uses and I do use it regularly for both cutting and defrosting. The defroster works well and efficiently (at least as well as my old faithful).It is easily cleaned in the sink and can drip-dry unless you need to change its use, e.g. just finished defrosting and want to dice the result.I gave the knife sharpener a go but found my existing free-standing sharpener easier to use as I found this awkward.I haven’t used the grater (looks suitable for garlic, ginger or nutmeg) as I also have other tools for that.I’d definitely recommend it even though it’s branded as a generic product and I’ve given it 5* based alone on its use as a defrosting and cutting board as well as its excellent price.

Wonderful idea very useful for someone like me who often forgets to get food out the night before to defrost. Handy little chopping board. Wish it came with a few instructions,the ones on the front of the box was covered by the delivery label.but I found the information I wanted in the Amazon descriptions. Not dishwasher proof. Apart from that very good value for money. I

One of those things you buy and don't use. OK for small items, no good for frozen chicken.
