I found this to be a very well designed, well built, safe to use and very economical tool that allows me to practice trigger breaking without fear of damaging the receiver. Before, I had to put up with having to either dry fire or catch the hammer with my off hand to prevent it striking the receiver/bolt stop. Now I can squeeze the trigger and allow the hammer to fall exactly as it would if I were actually firing. The force is safely transferred to the front pivot pin and the front of the lower receiver. The only other hammer stop I know of is a massive block that fills the mag well and costs just shy of $30.00 which I didn't want to pay. Be aware that you cannot use this with the upper receiver in place since it fits on the forward receiver pivot pin. You also cannot have a magazine in the mag well. It seems to be made of high density polyethelene which will probably outlast the rifle. As a bonus, I've found that when unloading a magazine you can use the corner of the hammer end to safely strip the rounds out without damage to the feed lips or the tool itself. In fact, I've dropped the hammer on it approx. 80 times and there isn't the slightest mark on the tool!!

This is the second product I've purchased from PlastiXrevolution. I build and work on ARs and this simple trigger block makes things a lot easier and safer for the lower. The AR triggers are not the greatest unless you purchase one of the high end (pricey) after market triggers, not saying these triggers aren't good just pricey. I've made trigger blocks in the past and they worked, but your trigger block ( actually hammer block ) is simpler and easy to use. This is a must have if you do any trigger work. A word of warning to those who are thinking about doing any trigger work get some expert instruction and/of information on doing trigger work as it is easy to go too far, making for a dangerous situation. As usual, this product is simple, well made, easy to use and reasonably priced.

But if you work and tune a lot of AR pattern guns then this can be rather helpful. My previous 1 broke which was hard to believe but it was pushing 15+ years of use. This 1 is identical only white not black. I should note that it is available else where at a better price point but I do a lot of ordering from Amazon via Prime so I paid the difference. Any ways, they are handy and do as they claim but won't work with AR10 and most PCC receivers so if that's your bag, move along...

Simple but a really trick product....the plastic (polymer actually) used is a machinable type. The NO-MAR TRIGGER TEST FIXTURE are simple to install/use for trigger testing when building a AR lower or with the NO-MAR CLEANING LINK...just install with back take down pin and the provided pin to secure the AR upper for a quick BCG removal at the range/wherever and a chamber cleaning without having to completely separate the lower from the upper.Exceptional price (DOWNRIGHT CHEAP!!) light and what I've toyed with these so far...very utility!! If preforming a trigger job or just working on the trigger...the trigger fixture allows you to test the trigger without fear of damage to the lower. And being made of a polymer...I know this plastic(Well it's a polymer and I suppose it's not a plastic) is tougher than tough! Had other types of products made from this polymer material before (None gun related) and yeah...it's Tarzan tough!! I don't believe you can break this stuff so expect a useful lifespan of a very very long time!!Made in the USA folks!!! Was shipped promptly an and I received promptly.....excellent deal and I highly recommend this to all AR owners/users.....in other words....I've already been using these two items...they work!!
