Arrived safely
Queen arrive safe and well with her 4 worker’s. She seems happy, love the little tube of feed that comes too, though I don’t think she’s ready to eat yet, I’ll give her a few days to settle now.

We failed.
I've given this item an average rating of 3. We had two lots of ants the first lot the Queen was dead on arrival and actually completely dehydrated the second lot the Queen was alive but then died within a couple of days. Because I'm not sure whether it's something we did I don't want to be too critical of the company so we just decided it was too cruel to keep getting ants and them dying and we gave up on the ant farm. Grandchildren very disappointed but we will have to find something else.

My ants arrived safe
My ants arrived alive. Though the postman shoved them through the letter box and the ants are now all stiff and surrounding the queen tho they all look okay and alive the queens alive. I got everything they said they'd send with it and I also got the care sheet two days early which i liked as it give me lot time to memorize it. One thing I never liked was that use sellotaped bubble wrap to the test tube which when opening causes a ton of noise and vibrations for the queen. So for the time being i wont be opening it properly until I know the queens fine after her heavy handed post man. So far 5/5 from the sellers will update again in 14 days let use know how shes got on. Thanks a lot Antsrus. Edit My ants seem to have gone into hibernation as they've all curled up in ball with the queen. My area is pretty cold this time of year. So I have put them away in a draw where there will be no vibrations. I'll check back up on them start of spring. Fingerscrossed they make it okay.

Good quality but no instructions
The queen was alive on arrival which I was so pleased with but I didn’t receive the care sheet via email or in the package and didn’t actually know what the protein shake was so I added it to a cotton bud and she actually ended up drowning in it that same day. Wondering what the 14 day guarantee is and if it applies to me because ngl I feel really ripped off rn

Excellent seller!
Excellent seller with excellent communication. Provided support and aftercare. Really appreciated the help. As you can see Lasius queen doing really well after over a month. Not long after arriving with workers queen laid her first eggs with us and the larvae are doing well so far.

The product quality is outstanding. Exactly what I needed for my work.
1. Unpack the ant colony and ensure the queen is alive. 2. Follow the emailed care sheet for initial care of the queen ant. 3. Feed the queen ant with the provided protein shake. 4. Use the pipette to water and feed the queen. 5. Monitor the queen and her growing colony. 6. Transfer the colony to a nest when it becomes too large for the test tube, following the care sheet instructions.
