I’m familiar with Shayda’s recipes from her YouTube and web presence, Healthy Cooking with Shayda, and I know from experience her recipes are easy and delicious. I’m also familiar with Gustavo from his webinars with Dr. John McDougall. I know Shayda and Gustavo are dedicated to spreading the delightful and delicious news of living your healthiest life. They weave their stories of weight loss, tips and strategies, and recipes into a delightful, easy to read, easy to follow book.

Shayda's story from Iran to USA vegan oil free Passover recipes?
Wow, I was really pleasantly surprised to find a few Passover recipes and their oil free vegan which is how I try and make everything but it really appreciate seeing someone else's recipes. I have never heard of Shayda before, but I've always been aware of Gustavo. My first time seeing him was interviewing Dr mcDougall. I had gained weight from a violent attack at a doctors office in New York City, where I was targeted and I still don't have justice. It's left me very traumatized instead of healing from terrible violence that never should've happened at a doctors no lesson so New York City instead of apologies and justice more crimes I was almost 12 years ago. It's hard my health I can't make a story up like that but anyway, I found high carb Hannah and Dr mcDougall. She made his teaching sexy gradually I lost weight including getting some coaching from Andrew Taylor Spud fit, but I always have appreciated Gustavo and now my new favored interview on his YouTube channel is Dr. Alan Goldhamer so I thought at least I could buy the book as a thank you, and there are a lot of beautiful recipes and interesting stories about their life and their journeys.

The best cookbook I’ve ever purchased!
I love this cookbook! The recipes are simple, easy to make, full of flavor and so delicious! I love on page 36-41 the weight loss strategies from Shayda and Gustavo which I found very helpful. I have been following Shayda’s YouTube channel “Healthy Cooking with Shayda” for years and was so excited to find out about the cookbook. I have never found any other recipes that are so healthy and delicious. Shayda has a unique way of adding ingredients that really make the flavor of the food pop. I enjoyed to learn about their journeys and history. I loved to travel through time as they shared the recipes they grew up with and how they made it healthier. Such a fabulous book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to add healthier meals to their lives!

Delicious Recipes From The Heart
I first learned about the authors of "Live Your Healthiest Life" while following other plant based chefs on YouTube. After seeing just a few videos I became a huge fan. Both Shayda and Gustavo demonstrate cooking delicious, oil-free vegan foods and they introduce us to other prominent people in the plant based movement. When I learned of their new cookbook, I immediately ordered!The cookbook is chock-full of delicious recipes including recipes from their native countries, Iran and Argentina. You'll find Gustavo's hearty, comforting dishes as well as Shayda's famous colorful salads - just to name a few. But what struck me most was reading about their life journeys to excellent health.Their love of friends,family and their heritage really shines through!

Love food.
What I love, is this is she got healthy and stayed healthy for 10+ years. And created these recipes through the decade. I'm tried a lot of the recipes and dishes are delicious.Let's get cooking.

Tasty recipes
This is a very readable and easy to understand book. The little stories add a nice personal context to the recipes which I found enjoyable. The recipes are easy to understand and filled with healthy ingredients. I'm looking forward to adding more of these recipes to my repertoire.

Did I really need another vegan cookbook??
Well, apparently I did! This book is wonderful in its simplicity but also its unique style. I’ve watched both the authors on their You Tube channels and know their stories. I myself do not have a weight problem, never have, but I am vegan and I am always on the lookout for healthy vegan recipes. I’ve embraced the SOS- free lifestyle for health and want to stay healthy. Some of the recipes are quite simple which I like. Some are more elaborate. I’m enjoying trying out both the Persian and Argentine recipes in this book. Both authors write a narrative on their own journeys which was fun to read about as well. The first recipe I made was Shanda’s potato salad called “Salad Olivieh” and I loved it. The Mustard Sauce that goes with it is what makes the dish.Very happy with this purchase.

A MUST TRY COOKBOOK!
The recipes are the BEST! I have a 15 month old and all her favorite foods are from this cookbook! Her favorites which she eats every week are South of the Border Tofu Scramble on page 44, Adasi (Hearty Lentil Stew) on page 113. We also love Creamy Mushroom Bisque, Southwestern Tempeh Chili, Spicy Summertime Peach and Mango Salsa, Brown Rice Vegetable Sushi, Authentic Oil-Free Falafel (the best I have ever had!), Family Harvest Salad, Maasto Khiar (Persain Cucumber and Yogurt), Khoresht Eh Beh (Quince Stew), Scrumptious Banana Bread and my go-to recipe which I adore is Baghali Polo (Dill Quinoa and Fava Bean). Every recipe I try is amazing and I can't wait to make them all! I love the flow of the book too as it really does take you on a journey through Shayda and Gustavo's lives, the recipes that shaped them and tips and strategies on weight loss and health.

Excellent book from two people who live the lifestyle! I definitely recommend this book!
I love that this book starts out with shared personal stories. The authors did this in a completely unique way. Great personable stories and both authors have lost weight successfully wth this approach. It is an easy captivating read. I couldn't put it down.The recipes are simple and lovely. The book designer created a wonderful layout. There are no recipe pictures inside the book, but the fonts and design are very attractive and ultra readable.I would also like to know what recipes the photos on the front and back cover are - they look absolutely fantastic. The before and after pictures are very inspiring. I definitely recommend this book!

Tasty, and easy to prepare healthy recipes
The recipes are easy to make, and they are not run-of-the-mill ideas. with recipes with Persian and Argentinian influences.I also appreciated the health journeys provided by Shayda and Gustavo. They make health achievable.
