I didn't even know something like this was a thing. Don't have to like hold a towel and hide anymore can just swap wet shorts for dry shorts in a hurry. The large is wide but I do like the extra 2 inches of length. It does help speed up drying and gives you a nice size area to sit on if the boat seat or sand is burning. Love pockets but adding a zip pocket helps make sure the phone wallet and keys make it home. Overall it does what it should and even has some fashion to it.

Love how substantial this wrap is. Warm and cozy. Well made and has a heavy duty zipper. Better than wrapping in a towel as this one stays put. I feel comfortable wearing it into beach shops and restaurants. And then right back out to the beach!! 🏝️ 🏖️

This poncho will be perfect for throwing on my toddler after the pool or beach this summer. Rather than change clothes after swimming, we often just shower the sand off him at the beach, wrap him in his towel, and then let him ride home in his diaper. Putting him in this little poncho will basically be the same idea, but will still allow him to run and play, and will be so much warmer and more comfortable for him. It's like having a little outfit and towel in one. It will also serve as great cover up when just taking a break from swimming or getting a snack at a kiosk.The XS is a great size for our 2 year old. It provides good coverage, but is not so bulky that he is unable to move in it. Fits just like the listing photo, if a little longer on his small frame. I think we will be able to use for a few years before it is too short.The material is fine, it is microfiber, but it could be a bit more plush. The poncho feels like a thin inexpensive beach towel. I understand that if it was any thicker it could be heavy and bulky, so thinner is probably better. It is soft enough, and has softened up more after washing, but don't expect it to feel like a bathrobe.The blue wave pattern and general design actually look pretty cool. Very stylish as far as ponchos go! Overall the quality is pretty nice. The zipper is thick and substantial and can open from the top or bottom. I do find can be a bit tricky to close the double zipper when doing it for someone else. If you are wearing it, it is not a problem, but something to keep in mind if you are dressing young kids. The front pockets are a nice addition. There is even a hidden little pocket inside for a key or money. I'm sure our son will just fill his pockets with shells and rocks, but still a nice design feature.Overall, a great find that will get lots of use this summer!

Let me start by saying that I didn't know such a magical product existed. I've had many hooded towels, counltess beach towels and a million cover-ups, but even when you put the very best qualities of those together, it still can't touch this!☆The quality is literally fantastic! (I hate to say this, but I'm pretty shocked that this doesn't cost $45+...and even then it would be totally worth it!). The stitching and hems are all clean, even and well done. There are no loose threads anywhere and there isn't a single piece of jagged material/improper cut anywhere! The zipper is chunky and very easy/quick to zip.♡A little detail I LOVE-These are sized by height so they are quite long. Instead of Pilotfish putting the zipper all the way down at the bottom so you have to bend to grab and zip, they raised the zipper area up slightly, making it easier to grab without having to bend over. It's the little things like this that really show exceptional design/construction.☆The material is awesome!I was REALLY hesitant because it is listed as polyester, a textile I loathe and avoid like the plague, but it doesn't feel or seem like poly at all! If you mix a really nice terry towel with a microfiber cloth, you would get this fabric. It has a medium-medium heavy thickness, but it doesn't wear heavy at all (despite being over 1.5lbs) . The absorbancy is outstanding! I can't believe how much water this removes or how fast it does it! My hair doesn't need to be wrapped in the hood, I just have to have it on my head and it starts drying! It is super soft, wicked cozy and, when it needs to be, it is warm too! There's nothing like snuggling up in this after a cold dip, or even straight out of the shower. BUT- when it's 87° with 80% humidity out, this doesn't add extra heat! We are all convinced it somehow does the opposite and sheilds you from the heat in some crazy way.♡More details I love-*The hood is a really nice touch! It is large and accommodates big heads and big hair.*The pockets are spacious too. I was suprised to find a hidden pocket in the pocket, which makes this even MORE useful/fabulous!*The logo/patches are super cute and even those are very nice quality.*This is SUPER easy to wash/dry- regular cycle, high heat. It doesn't shrink or deform at all. It also air dries quick, just hanging outside.*I'm pretty crazy about washing towels/linens, but we had one of these hanging around the pool for 8 days straight (getting used daily). It didn't get that musty smell that towels usually do when they go from wet to dry over and over.☆I am 5'7" and 127lbs. My daughter is 5'8", 145lbs. I decided to get this in a Large to accommodate us both. (Eventhough I ended up ordering another for her because It was a constant fight over who would wear it). The large is perfect for both of us. There is plenty of room (in the body and arms) to change out of wet suit/clothes, without putting on a production. Plus, it's so cozy! If you are on the boarder on the size chart, order up for sure!I love throwing this on after kayaking and getting my wet shorts off. My daughter will reach for hers after swim practice, before even grabbing her towel. I think this a brilliant product for surfers, but it's beyond useful to anyone who gets in/out of water (thats ALL of us!) It's perfect for getting out of the pool/hot tub or after getting out of the shower too!As a pool owner, I always keep a basket of towels handy for guests. I like the big, heavy towels that cost $25+. But I won't be buying those anymore. Instead, I plan on filling the basket with these ponchos! The price is steal and the product is ...*chefs kiss*!

It’s mostly a good poncho. It fits nice. I live less than 10 minutes from the aquatic center I do my laps at. It isn’t worth the time to go into the locker room to shower and change when I’m so close to home. That said, I wanted something I could cover up with. This seemed like the perfect thing without have to spend a lot more for these swim coats.I took a couple of stars off because the zipper is not that easy to use. Takes a few tries to get it going. Should be able to quickly zip and go, but can’t with this poncho.
