Good rope. Wears well
This is basic poly propylene stranded rope that works fine for small boat anchors or general use.

Good Spool of Anchor Rope
Seems like good anchor rope. 100’ with a solid steel end.

Anchored.
Installed this on my 20 pound mushroom anchor and it works great. Soft and easy to use.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this product as I am in the process of replacing my reliable, yet worn anchor line. This rope comes wound on a plastic spool and is shrink wrapped for shipping. I can think of plenty of other uses for the spool, should I decide not to keep the rope on it.The shackle pin was easy to thread in and out. The finish on it is very well done with no apparent flaws, the same can also be said about the thimble. The hardware is stamped as being made of 316 stainless steel, and my unofficial magnet test shows it is.The rope itself is soft and supple and is similar to the anchor rope that it will be replacing. Assuming the new rope is the same material as the old one (?) then it should offer many years of service. If need be you can always cut the rope to be used for other purposes, such as securing your boat fenders? If you do that, then you may need to splice another eyelet into it. I find a three stranded rope much easier to work with then a braided rope when it comes to making splices. But if you're confident in your splicing abilities then give it a shot.Reading the description of the rope left me a little confused in respect to what this anchor line is made of. The anchor line is described as being Solid braided and then Double braided. It’s also advertised as being made of just Nylon and then Multifilament Polypropylene (MFP) I’m not an authority on ropes, but there is some conflicting information in respect to what it is actually made of. Regardless, I really don’t have any issues with this rope/line. There is plenty of it and at a reasonable price.

Excellent quality!!
This anchor line is top notch!! The quality is on par with the most expensive ropes I’ve seen and used. We use this line as a stern anchor for our 22’ offshore boat. It holds up perfectly against current and anything else we put it against. Overall, a great anchor line!

Nylon, feels stretch annd plasticky
This is attractively spooled and a nice quantity, but it is small guage -- too thin to use for hauling up anything by hand, like an anchor, for instance, without a block and tackle. Also not a great rope for towing. It is well-suited for jobs like tying down a tarp, which is what I am now using it for.
