Not really suitable to use without a holder because of melted wax.
Lovely candles but, unfortunately, they melted down into the holder, which very difficult to remove. If used without a holder would probably just melt down everywhere - but I have not tried this!

Sorry, for one I bought them, and I wasn't impressed by the sight of them when I got them. I looked at the photo and thought, yep, they will do me, but, upon arrival I saw they were small, 6 to 7 inches high and about 2 inches wide, last, well, they didn't very long, probably about 2 evenings, poor product, I felt let down. To call them pillar candles is insulting, so consequently I won't be buying them again.
