Great and smooth mouse - BUT RGB lighting does NOT sync with other corsair peripherals.
I really do like this mouse and the shape and design is perfect for myself, but why no full 5 stars? It does NOT SYNC the RGB lighting with all other peripherals in the corsair family, apparently as its a wireless device and I did ponder why the MM1000 mouse mat with the charger is not RGB when it would have made so much sense to have made an RGB version. Long story short, it seems due in part to being wireless (per corsair forums) the mouse cannot Sync the lighting with other Corsair peripherals currently. Granted this is a minor issue for some I expect, however lets be honest here, RGB is part of the selling point here and pairing it with other corsair peripherals to getting it all working in tandem is partly why people may stick with one brand. Long story short, this is a real shame as if your using color cycle / rainbow / type lighting and have multiple corsair peripherals, it just does its own thing. With that out of the way, how is the mouse itself. Well its pretty lovely in actual use, the mouse itself comes in the typical black and yellow box of Corsair's gaming family. In the box you get the mouse itself, a wireless 2.4 GHz receiver, a 1.8m braided cable terminating in the charger cable and a adapter that coverts the end of the charging cable into a USB port into which the 2.4 GHz receiver can be used to allow you to place the receiver in a ideal position and also have easy access to the charging cable. Finally you get a magnetic attachment for the tight hand side which replaces the panel with one in which there is a pinky rest. The mouse itself work well for my hands which is a fairly large plam grip style with my mouse prior being the G602 and Corsair Schimitr (former more ideal). Up top of the mouse you get a single button behind the scroll wheel which is not DPI but rather flicks through profiles you save in CUE. The DPI button changer is the two buttons on the left mouse button with there being 3 DPI options highlighted by 3 small dots near the front left. There is a sniper button located on the left hand side with a forward and back button on either side of said sniper button. In terms of battery life, I am going about 14 hours with the RGB lights all on bright with about 22-24 hours off. In the latest version of CUE you get a dashboard on which you can see the battery status of the mouse. In terms of lag, I do not notice any difference with the 2.4 GHz connection using the dongle to be honest, but I am not an overly hardcore FPS player so that partially may be why. I do notice a slight delay and hitching at times when using it with my HTPC in the living room, but can still game perfectly fine.In a nutshell the mouse feels lovely in my hands as a palm gripper. It looks great and feels great with the texture finish working real well. There is a lack of buttons, but it works well for mouse the part and they are placed in ideal locations. The only downside which I mentioned is a lack of Synchronized lighting with all other corsair peripheral's. At nearly £100 its a shame as lets be frank, at this price point and point in 2018 with all the RGB craze, you would imagine Corsair's most expensive mouse would be able to sync with their own devices RGB lighting.

Great mouse, doesn’t disappoint “much”.
Love this mouse, at the beginning of use it would stutter a ton every single hour but a firmware update fixed that entirely. The receiver is about 2-3 foot away under a table and I’ve only had one stutter in the last week that required me to unplug/plug in the receiver again. Not great but haven’t had the problem occur since.Another complaint would be: if you ever plan on using that front/forward button, you will have to change your grip entirely to reach it because a normal hand placement is not enough to easily press it so i wouldn’t want to have it as an important button. The back and sniper button are in perfect place however requiring no change in finger placement.Very comfortable to use in my opinion, I’m a big fan of the soft dimple textured grip on your palm and the right magnetic grip for your pinky finger is also very smooth. When it comes to using QI Wireless charging You have to place the back of the mouse on the centre of it for it to receive which is not great, it works perfectly fine of course but you have to be a tiny bit extra careful to make sure you place it properly AND the mouse doesn’t just fall off the pad if you have a small one and not the wireless charging mousemat they have.Overall I love it and would recommend, you won’t hate it that’s for sure but definitely be aware of the problems that Corsair looked past.

lumpy, ugly, hard press failure
So i read and watched alot of youtube videos on this. Fantastic great product, i couldnt go wrong from the vids. Its large, great for fitting bigger hands, fantastic.First thing, do not use bluetooth. Its laggy, like going back to an early 2000's mouse. Just dont waste your time, tried it via both direct to pc and steam link.So dongle and wireless. The corsair software is great, its a fiddle but once you get to know it. It'll do whatever you ask it, its better to be a fiddle than not deliver what you need, so there i was happy. The biggest problem is the middle thumb button was a pain to press in, so much so in some games i was almost holding the mouse side on because i used it alot. The 2 buttons to the left of left click were also terrible, just so many accidental presses (vs say a logitech g502 where you cant make this mistake). It has a large back though which is great for big hands...but the wireless side, is plain terrible.Other reviews note this but you never know, everyone has seperate rigs. Myself my mouse was maybe less than 1 foot away from the receiver, it was in the extra non-hub usb of my corsair k70 keyboard...out of 12 hours, 2 would be me checking the mouse because it wasnt responding....repeatidly...was this me?I used the extention option with the supplied (and braided) usb and sadly even inches away, the same problem, when you're using a wireless mouse and you often hear a clunk because when you push the mouse up, your bumping into the receiver and STILL having connection issues...just dont bother.Returned within 2 weeks.
