The Enduro boot by Baffin is manufactured to stand up in the most demanding work conditions while offering a high level of comfort. This is accomplished by using a three part injection molding process that allows a different compound to be used in the outsole, the midsole and the upper. Our GELFLEX midsole compound is impact absorbing and supportive no matter what surface you are standing on or working in. The upper is highly abrasion resistant and the outsole is durable and long lasting. Most other rubber boots use only one compound. The Enduro also features a removable insole for additional comfort and fit. For true performance and a level of comfort that is sure to surprise, choose the Enduro Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing moulded insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional moulded boots are suitable for some conditions they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin uses an unrivalled 8-layer combination of materials that is used in their boots that are rated to -148 degree fahrenheit temperature range. Baffin boots are different to most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole is moulded to the base in one continuous process. The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. This in combination with a Polymech foam removable lining system and innovative Timberwolf leather and Diamond-Lite insulated nylon uppers, creates a relentless focus on perfect boots and winter shoes. Baffin is dedicated to offering boots with functionality and fashion while still maintaining our legendary performance.

started failing at about 3 months
Let me say first that I use these on a very regular basis.Okay-the boots are comfortable (see opening statement). I wear them to avoid getting wet, walking through tall grass around the house, pouring concrete, etc. After about 3 months of use, the left boot started splitting at the metatarsal area/top side of boot. With continued non-water use, it has continued to open up to about a 6 inch slit. Other areas on each of the boots show early signs of the same issue.I called Baffin's customer support and was directed to Amazon for resolution. I reached out to Amazon, as well, and did not receive a response. Normally, I receive better service from Amazon; however, this is not a review of Amazon. When the boots served all intended purposes, I was happy. Unfortunately, 5-6 months of use before disposal does not cut it for me. The soles are hardly worn.

Split after only 13 days of wear, no warranty
My husband wore these shoes (basically brand new) for a 10-day sea kayaking trip. He reported they were very comfortable for rain boots. He had worn them twice in the week before the trip and once a week after, i.e., only 13 wears total in less than a month. The rubber has already split on the top of the left boot. I asked him if he'd dropped anything on his foot, rammed it into anything, etc., and he said no. He also reported the boot was not tight on him. The boot hasn't been heated or abused since we got it.Looking online, it seems there's no warranty of any kind. I wish I'd noticed before purchase. I think there's a reason all the locals in SE Alaska wear a different brand.

Awesome rubber boots made in Canada. They fit 1/2 to 1 size larger. I'm size 9 1/2 and ordered 9 which are still roomy
This is the perfect muck boot, in fact this is my second pair. These Canadian made boots are extremely durable and long wearing. The sole seems to last forever. These are not insulated so they are perfect for mild weather. They are very easy to put on and take off due to the large opening for the foot. I would not wear these for 8 hours on end since they are not breathable and tend to get sweaty, however of all the rubber boots I've had these ones have enough free space around the foot and calf to let air in and out the top. These boots are sized larger than expected, I'm a size 9 1/2 and ordered a size 9 boot. This size is perfect for me because I can still wear a thick sock and not feel cramped in the foot. In hot weather, I wear a thin sock which allows for air space around my foot keeping it from getting too clammy. Tip: if your concerned about your foot getting too hot over time, wear thin socks and don't tuck your pant legs into the boot or just wear shorts. I've worn these outside in 90+ weather and I can get by.

Great boots.
I love these boots. I'm a north country farmer, and need good rubber boots. These fit the bill. The fit is right on - I wear a nine, and a nine in these fit perfectly. We get cold. Routinely we hit 10 below zero, and sometimes much colder. These boots are uninsulated, but I've never felt the need for warmer boots. I put on a thick pair of good socks, and drive on. Trudging in the snow, and I've never had cold feet.Buy these boots. They're a good Canadian company so you know the quality is there.

Rubber Blowout
I purchased these a year ago February. They fit well, look sharp, are made in a democratic nation (Canada) and appear to be well made. But within a year's time they developed two leaks: one along a seam and another, an actual break, in the rubber fabric/fiber-net construction. They also have increased in price by ca. $10 (blame it on Trump's supercilious trade war?). But I'm ordering another pair today because the Made-in-China rubber boots I tended previously to purchase also had a longevity of a single year and cost a good deal more. I work and play hard in Montana and, granted, my boots are subjected to tough wear and tear. My wife has a pair and loves them. Split her stars and mine and one gets a three.

Great Boots
I was correctly advised (either in the item description or by another reviewer) to round down for half sizes-- e.g. 10 for a size 10.5. The boots arrive slightly larger than the actual size, but I think that is to be expected for rain boots, where sock layering can be especially important. Very comfortable, excellent initial quality.

great water boots
these are very good rain boots, this winter ill try them in snow but they should be just as good. i walked through a foot deep river and swamp with no issues, no water leaking in at all. i wore them for about an hour and they were comfortable the entire time and more if i kept wearing them. but im a size 10, the size 10 was WAY too large, sent it back. i got a size 8 and they have a small amount of room for extra socks if needed. but they were good without extra socks too. good quality just order them 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller give or take.

The top is wide enough for the foot to slip in easily. What’s more
These boots exceeded all expectations. They were designed and manufactured with a lot of integrity. The sole is very thick and will insulate well from slush and snow. The top is wide enough for the foot to slip in easily. What’s more, they look good!I had read one reviewer who wrote that the boots were thin. I expected some kind of tote-boot rubber. They are in no way thin. They are thick and substantial. Although, they are call rain boots, they are, in my opinion, perfect for snow as well.In my opinion, they are a bargain. There are rubber boot offered at $150 and $175 a pair which I have examined very carefully in stores here -- and they are not of this quality.Yes, the sizes run very large. It’s possible that a Size 10-1/2 foot could fit in Size 9 boot. I ordered Size 10 for feet that measure 10-1/2. The boots would still be too big without the industrial “steel-tipped” Dickies socks that I went out and bought -- because I liked them too much to risk that Size 9 would not fit!

Bad listing
Item states steel toe work boot, these do not have steel toes. For future reference, you can identify which boots are steel toe and which are not by the presence or absence of steel in the toe....Thanks for wasting my time.

Good boot but NOT steel toe like advertised
Great quality rubber boots. However, NOT steel toe like they say it is. Have to return since I was looking for steel toe rubber boots. These are not.
