Easy to install
I purchased 3 of these recently. My husband and I like the fact that we can replace the batteries in this model, and that they were easy to install.

Well made Smoke detectors
Put two of these in a 20x40 garage across the street from my residence. I can hear them across the street especially at night.

The worst
I bought this three months ago and it randomly went off a few times. I had to call the fire department because I wasn’t sure what was going on and after looking at the codes, they stated that it was faulty. I contacted Katie and they said the fire department was not the one who would determine if a smoke detector was faulty, which is ridiculous because that’s their job. Declined to give me a refund. I would not recommend this and to just go into a store and get one so you know it’s not trash, and if it is the store will make it right.
